As a young boy, becoming a cowboy was my dream and it was not until I met my orthodontist that I found my real dream and passion, orthodontia! I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and I grew up on farms in the Midwest. Despite my rural surroundings of dairy farms and horses, my sights were set on practicing orthodontics. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Gustavus Adolphis, and then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. After an enjoyable four years I continued on to University of California San Francisco where I completed my orthodontic residency while falling in love with California!
In 1976 I began my orthodontic practice on the Monterey Peninsula and have since been providing quality orthodontic care at my office locations in Monterey, Marina and Carmel. I feel privileged to live and work in the most amazing place on the central coast. Creating beautiful smiles with my highly skilled team, and building friendships with each of my patients is my passion. I continue attending educational seminars in orthodontics and my desire, energy, and excitement for learning the new science and technology of orthodontics never ceases!
When not in the office, mountain climbing, gardening, playing tennis and spending time with my family consume most of my time. I have a beautiful wife and four daughters who inspire me daily and continue to expand my fashion horizons! Our Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier, Shyan, is bursting with energy and keeps me on my toes by eating plastic toys and my wifes shoes!
Stemming from my passion and enthusiasm about the orthodontic field, I strive to be on the cutting-edge of technology. I was the first orthodontist on the central coast to be certified and begin utilizing the Damon System and Invisalign technology for my patients.
Lucy has worked in the dental field for years. She is not only a busy mom and is committed to volunteer work, but is a great asset to Team Eisinger. Lucy enjoys spending time with her family and taking trips to the beach.
I first began my financial career in 1991 with National Recovery Corporation. I began working in orthodontics in 2004 and have had the pleasure of being with Dr. Eisingers team since! My favorite and most important role in the practice is working with our patients and families to design payment options to accommodate their individual needs. I enjoy getting to know our patients families and making a personal connection with our wonderful patients.
Andrea has worked for Dr. Eisinger for over twenty years. Her early career focused on Health Promotion and Education. Andrea admires Dr. Eisingers energy, excellence, and expertise in orthodontics. She treasures her time running, hiking, playing tennis, and enjoying her family.
Lori has been part of Dr. Eisingers team since 2016. Lori has been in the dental field for 9 years and found her passion for orthodontics. Lori is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant Permit Holder. When Lori is not in the office assisting in creating beautiful smiles, she enjoys doing DIY projects, dancing, and spending time with her three kids.
Ursi Eisinger has been working on Dr. Eisingers clinical team since 2013. Ursi was born in Carmel and attended Carmel High School. She graduated from the University of San Diego with degrees in both Economics and Neuroscience and plans to continue working in the dental field. Ursi has her Dental Radiology Certificate and X-Ray License. She will be attending UCSF School of Dentistry to pursue her D.D.S. degree this Fall.
Alexandra Eisinger has been working for Dr. Eisinger since 2013. She was born in Carmel and graduated from Carmel High School in 2016. She graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with degrees in Environmental Studies and Philosophy. Alexandra likes working in the orthodontic field because she is passionate about helping others.

I am honestly SHOCKED this orthodontist is still in practice. He has been for years but when I had braces as a teen I just completely stopped going to him after he yelled at me in front of the patients and staff. I remember he called me after to apologize and wrote a note signed by everyone as a pathetic excuse for what he did. I was only about 15 and was there without a parent. Everyone stopped and stared after he yelled at me for mentioning I had been waiting for about 1.5 hours. I could feel the tension between him and his staff at the time too. Don't let your kids go alone to him. It's been years and I'm just now writing this review. I wish I had sooner since it looks like he's still practicing.

I am so pleased with Dr Eisinger and staff. My daughter's results were stunning. I finally decided to get my braces done and knew there was only ONE Orthodontist I would trust. Thank you Dr Eisinger, I love my smile.

Dr. Eisinger was not my first choice. However, after discussing my treatment options with several other orthodontists in the area, I did not feel 100% satisfied. I decided to visit Dr. Eisinger's office and was not disappointed. The whole team is very welcoming and Dr. Eisinger spent an hour meticulously going over my options. I felt like he cared about every tooth in my mouth. The treatment was a breeze and finished before the original estimate. The results are night and day compared to the smile I was born with. Despite paying more for the treatment than other orthodontists in the area quoted me, I decided to go with Dr. Eisinger because of his personal and caring approach to my orthodontic needs. Highly recommended.

We are very happy with the orthodontic work of Dr. Eisinger and his kind and very well trained team. We are amazed that our daughter Mia has improved her overjet from 7mm to 1mm in a one year treatment. We are thankful and we strongly recommend Dr. Eisinger to anybody who needs his orthodontic service.

I have had bad teeth since i was young and my parents had been planning to get my braces since then. I recently got my braces about 2 months ago. I love the community there, they are very kind and they ask what your nicknames are. I have had a gap in between my front top teeth and just in a week i saw that close. I love the treatment there and I very much recommend going here. My sister has even came here too for her braces and she had great teeth after her braces and I know that I will get the teeth she has one day too.

An awesome dentist with a great sense of humor - and a bolo tie with boots minus the spurs! Wanted to write the review to thank Dr. Eisinger - he is a warm person who cares about his patients. Beyond that he is very skilled in his work. He explained the entire procedure to me and was thorough. I would recommend him to anyone - thank you Dr. Eisinger.

I grew up with spaces between my teeth and a large gap in front and it always bothered me. I never smiled with my teeth showing because I didn't like my smile, even though they show when I'm laughing. And I love laughing! I decided it was time to do something about it My dentist referred me to Dr. Eisinger and we talked about what my options were. He recommended the Damon system and a time span that surprised me. I expected this to be a multi-year process, but I was done in under 18 months. He is great. His staff is wonderful. I love my smile now!

Our 9 year old son was referred to Dr. Eisinger last year by our dentist for cross bite and over crowding. Upon meeting Dr. Eisinger and his team we felt immediately welcomed and cared for! The exam was the most thorough and detailed with state of the art pictures. We were impressed not only with the Dr.'s attention to detail but the importance of the facial structure for a young child and his development. He pointed out things that we simply were not aware of and explained the progression of his treatment and it's success. On a personal level, Dr. Eisinger personally reached out the evening after our son received his new hardware to check in on him! Dr. Eisinger is caring, thoughtful and quite a snappy dresser as well. We love his fun socks and bow ties too! What a wonderful experience this has been which is rare to say when it comes to most oral care treatment!

Before coming to Dr.Eisinger I had a cross bite, gap and I didn't have space for my permanent teeth. With the help of Dr.Eisinger and the Damon System, I now have a beautiful smile. We have been so pleased with Dr. Eisinger. Not only do we love the friendliness and helpfulness of his staff but are so impressed with the results we have seen so far in only 3 months. Teeth that were completely behind others have been moved and pulled forward in such a seemingly painless way. If anyone is looking for someone who genuinely cares for his patients and their results they should look into Dr. Eisinger.

My experience with Dr.Eisinger was great! I had a 8 millimeter overbite, but now my smile looks perfect. I never had any problems with my braces and I had them for almost two years. I actually had them for less time than I was supposed to so I was very happy with that. I use to be super insecure about my teeth and I would always hide my smile, but now I am very happy with my teeth and I am not afraid to show my beautiful smile. Thank you Dr.Eisinger, my progress of my smile has been great because of you and your team!
