Dr. Burke is originally from Larchmont, NY. He received his bachelors degree in Psychology from SUNY Albany. Dr. Burke then went on to study dentistry at Georgetown Universitys School of Dentistry in Washington, DC. He has been in private practice in New York for the past 27 years, the last 15 of which have been in Yorktown Heights.
Dr. Burke has over 500 hours of continuing education in dentistry and is currently taking post doctoral classes at the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Ninth District Dental Association, the Putnam County Dental Society, the Georgetown University Dental Alumni Association, and the Lake Mahopac Rotary Club. He is also a past Assistant Scout Master of the Boy Scouts of America.
Dr.Burke is excited about the latest dental technology, loves to learn, and is proud to offer his patients the best new and proven dentistry, technology has to offer. He loves living in Mahopac, where he enjoys spending time with his three children. He enjoys being a member of his community and especially meeting his patients around town.
Barbara has been a dental hygienist for 33 years. She graduated from Hostos Community College and received the Stevenson Award for highest clinical and academic honors. She has worked with Dr. Burke for the last 25 years. Barbara is licensed in anesthesia infiltration and nitrous sedation. She is CPR/AED certified. Barbara is also extensively trained in non-surgical periodontal treatment, focusing on prevention and maintenance.
Barbara is married and has two sons, and an adorable doggie named Snowy. She is also a fitness instructor. Total Body Health is her main goal, as she understands that prevention and maintenance are the keys to both physical and oral health. In her spare time, Barbara is an avid crafter and loves to cook healthy meals, of course!
Elizabeth has been an assistant for 34 years and has worked in both General and Prosthodontic offices. She is also OSHA certified. Elizabeth has been with Dr. Burke for 12 years and has an energetic, warm, and friendly demeanor. She has the ability to put patients at ease whether she is assisting with adults or children.
Elizabeth has lived in Mohegan Lake for 13 years. She is married and has two daughters. She is the proud owner of a dog named Romeo. Elizabeth is an avid runner in her spare time and has participated in many charity runs within the community, as well as 2 out-of-state marathons.

Dr. Burke and his staff are the best! In fact, I am referring all my friends and family to Dr. Burke. The staff are always courteous and professional. Barbara at the front desk immediately puts you at ease with her smile and friendliness. Dental hygienists are very efficient and Dr. Burke is an excellent dentist. I highly recommend this office.

Best dentist ever. Thought I had an infection brewing and he saw me right away. He's always there for you when you need him. He is very thorough and explains everything that is happening or will happen. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Burk. Is the best. My mouth and teeth have never felt better or looked better. He is very conscientious and keeps up to date with all th newest technology. He always explains what his recomenatipns are and what the pros and cons are. Very trustworthy. I also moved to FL in last 2 years but I still come back to NY to Dr. Burk.

I have not been to a dentist in a while because of fears, and Dr. Burke, along with his entire staff, made me comfortable, were very gentle and guided me through the entire process. After having two cavities filled in one visit, I left there pain free and totally ready for my next appointment. What a wonderful doctor and staff. Special thanks to Barbara who started the process cleaning my teeth and convincing me that I could do it. Thank you all so much.

Had a cleaning today. It was so thorough i needed a massage after. Lol. Toni the hygienist is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. The whole staff is great. From the receptionist to the dentist.
