Beyond my passion for disease prevention, I find pleasure in the out-of-doors. I have been married to Megan since 1984. We raised four children, so family occupies a good amount of our time. We enjoy that, along with gardening, cooking, our animals, and watching Douglas County sunsets.

I have dental anxiety/fear. Dr. Hay and his staff are friendly and professional and make sure I'm comfortable. They also do great work and make sure you have an idea of cost so you know what you're paying instead of getting a surprise bill.

Went to my first dentist appointment with Dr. Hay today. His wholistic approach to care was so refreshing and amazing. He sat down and was able to have a full conversation about his approach to dental care with me and truly cared about what I had to say in return. I definitely recommend him!!!

I went to Dr. Hay because he was the closest Dentist to Lawrence that took VA clients. And he's the best dentist i have ever been too. The man cares, and goes the extra mile, and he really knows his stuff!

Dr. John Hay is always very polite and courteous every time we come to visit. I just wanted to give an extra shout out for him today. I came out after my cleaning to find that one of my tires was completely flat and I was his last customer of the day. John and his wife stayed late to let my 1.5yr old son stay inside in the air conditioning and play with the toys while I changed my tire. Amazing, friendly hometown-style service that you can't beat!

Would highly recommend this office! I come in from Lawrence to see him. Dr Hay makes sure you understand what he is doing every step of the way. He gives you a thorough plan of care that is in your best interests. I have recommended him before and will continue to recommend him to anyone who asks.

I'm a medical doctor and all I can honestly say this is the best dentist I've ever had. Dr. Hay is kind, helpful, and above all else a SKILLED dentist. I travel a lot for work and sometimes have a dental problem on the road, when I go to a dentist out of town they sometimes cannot fix the problem. But Dr. Hay's skill level allows him to do some things other dentists can't. He's also very nice, and doesn't make you feel like you're a dollar sign. You're a patient to him first and foremost.

Dr. Hay does a really good job, and offers lots of advice with overall oral health. Has lots of info for things you can do. Appreciates the community and the person. Would recommend.
