John G. Wood D.D.S. Dr. Wood graduated with a D.D.S. degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, in 1983.Dr. Wood is a credentialed oral health care professional, skilled in a variety of procedures to provide for your dental health care needs. He is also highly skilled in esthetic or cosmetic dentistry. He has completed four years at an American Dental Association accredited school, passed the National Dental Board Exams and the state board exams of several states in addition to Arizona. Dr. Wood is dedicated to creating outstanding smiles for his patients, using the latest technology available.
Elizabeth Ewell D.M.D. Dr. Ewell has loved dentistry from the beginning when she began assisting at age 18 in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado. She soon saw the value in having a gentle touch and a personable heart when serving her patients. She enjoys providing conservative, necessary, and esthetic general dentistry to patients of all ages and treats every patient like family. She values discussing treatment options with her patients and engaging them in their healthcare.
When Dr. Ewell isnt practicing dentistry, she enjoys art and the outdoors. She is an oil painter and enjoys creating Impressionist-style landscapes and flowers. She enjoys camping, fishing, and bike riding. Her bookcase is filled with classic ancient Roman, British, and American works. She has spent many years volunteering with elementary school children and thoroughly enjoys increasing their fundamental skills and self-confidence. She and her husband have settled in Glendale and enjoy visiting museums and the symphony, camping, and fishing.
Dr. Crane was raised in the rural country side of Southern Idaho. It was there he learned to work diligently alongside his four brothers and father on a dairy farm. It was through the local Boy Scouts and master scout, who is a dentist, that he developed an interest in the dental field. He fulfilled his dream of becoming a dentist after much hard work and determination. Now, his current goal is to bring high quality dental care to every patient whom he treats and interacts with.
Dr. Crane spends most of his spare time with his family. His three children keep him pretty occupied but he loves spending time with them. They love playing games together, swimming and playing outdoor sports. Dr. Crane also enjoys playing the guitar, trying new restaurants with his wife and being involved with his church.
Kris has been in dentistry for over 30 years. She started as dental assistant and then worked in the front office for the past 20 years. She has worked with Dr. Wood as his office manager since 2016. She is originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin and has lived in Arizona since 1998. She has eleven siblings and is a loyal Green Bay Packers fan.
Michelle has been in dentistry for 18 years working in the front office. She was born in Hickory Hills, Illinois and raised in Arizona. She enjoys traveling, the ocean, baking and spending time with her family.
Jenn has been in dentistry for 10 years and has worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Wood for several years. She was born in Glens Falls, New York and raised in Arizona. She loves spending time with her kids, hiking and being outdoors.
Jennifer started her dental career in 2010. Her favorite part of dentistry is interacting with patients as well as being a part of improving their health and smiles. She has busy household filled with very active boys. Her husband, two preschoolers and one big old English mastiff dog. Her family enjoys taking their weekend trips up north to go camping, fishing and exploring.
Elena moved from Russia to U.S. a year and a half ago with her family. She loves Arizonas wonderful sunny climate and friendly people! Elena chose dental assisting because its a creative job that makes people smile more! In her free time she enjoys singing, working out and spending time outdoors.
Lindsay Shearer graduated from Phoenix College dental assisting program in 2013 earning her C.D.A. She grew up in the Mojave desert and has lived in Phoenix for 15 years. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband and two kids. Lindsay plays Roller derby for Desert Dolls Roller Derby in Phoenix.
Ashley is a Phoenix native and grew up in the North Phoenix area. She started her dental career right out of high school as an assistant and then went on to become a dental hygienist. She graduated from Phoenix College in 2008 and has continued to enjoy her career in dentistry since. She has a passion for continuing education and bringing that knowledge back to her patients. At home she stays busy with her 3 daughters Kailey, Shae and Finley. Lindalea has been in the dental field for over 25 years. Her passion is serving people and helping them optimize their general dental health in a positive and comfortable atmosphere. She strives to provide a pleasant dental experience with dedication, integrity, and compassion. When not at work she enjoys hanging out with her family and her dog Ginger as well as hiking, cooking and reading.
