Dr. Landis has strong ties to the Jacksonville area. He met his wife Lisa here in the year 2000 while stationed as a nurse corps officer at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. Although his military service carried them to many different duty stations along the East Coast, he and his family are excited about now calling Jacksonville their permanent home.

Dr. Landis attended Dental School in Houston, TX and graduated in 2007. He was then accepted into Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. After completion of Residency, Dr. Landis was assigned to Naval Hospital Pensacola. He obtained Board Certification in 2013.

Dr. Landis is currently serving in the Navy reserves. He feels he owes everything to the military which afforded him the ability to pursue his education and provide for his family. It is his passion to treat military service members and their families, as well as retirees and veterans. His focus is dento-alveolar procedures, extractions and dental implant surgery. He does offer a wide array of other Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery services.

Having genuine fear of all dental work, meeting Dr Landis was a Blessing. He did the prearranged procedure and surprisingly, first phase of a multiphase oral surgery treatment. Many thanks to Dr Landis and staff for their professional care!!

I went to Dr. Landis recently to have a tooth removed (there was a large crack in it, and the gums had become infected) and the overall experience was terrific. He explained what he was doing throughout the procedure, which was painless. He was personable and answered all my questions, and his staff was very pleasant and helpful. In fact, they called me the day after the procedure to see how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr. Landis for oral surgery procedures.

The warmth, personal care and professionalism I experienced from this office has been nothing less than outstanding. I had dental implant surgeries in which two of the implants required a sinus lift procedure. The follow-up was excellent. I could not have asked for a better oral surgery team and staff to take care of my needs. Thank you Dr. Landis for creating an environment where you feel like family, and receive corresponding care as such.

Took my 16 year old daughter to get her wisdom teeth removed here at this office, the professionalism of the entire staff is amazing. They are very welcoming and helpful and made the process as easy as possible. Everything went great, if you are looking for a oral surgeon don't hesitate to go to this office, Dr. Landis and his staff are so great!

The best experience with a Dentist I have ever had. He was not only through but very kind, and gentle. I recommend anyone that needs help, go see Dr. Landis. And his assistant was equally nice and had very good beside manners. Everyone in his office is professional and kind. If he could get 10 stars I would give them to him.

I went to see Dr. Landis for a consult and he immediately diagnosed me with a rare syndrome that two ENT physicians had missed. He got me a referral to a great maxofacial surgeon and made sure that he talked to the surgeon prior to the problem being fixed. He is great doctor and nice man. I highly recommend him.

I cant put in to words how professional and "gentle" this doctor is. I have a child with Autism and not only did he take the best care of him but he also took care of my nerves. His staff is top notch, his office is clean and inviting, his skills are the best in the business. I am so impressed with the way he gave care to my son. Thank you, Dr. Landis and staff.

I cannot say enough positive words about this office. From the moment I walked in they treated me kindness. Pam took the time to walk me through all my insurance options and helped me with my decisions. The procedure was quick, painless and both Dr Landis and assistant Kenita talked to me the entire time ensuring I was comfortable and informed. Kenita's manner was gracious and kind. I highly recommend this office!

I came to Dr. Landis upon the referral of my dentist and orthodontist. I needed to have 8 teeth removed for successful orthodontic treament ( 4 wisdom teeth and 4 premolars). During my consult with Dr. Landis, I learned that due to the extent of my surgery, I needed to be placed under intravenous sedation. Dr. Landis explained in great detail how the surgery would be carried out as well as post-operative care. He is very thorough! He won my confidence and trust in his expertise and ability to treat me. However, I still was anxious about the intravenous sedation because I am a big "needlephobe' and I was not sure how the experience of being placed under anesthesia would be like. The last surgery and only surgery I had prior to my teeth extractions was a blephlaroplasty at 18 months old. On the day of oral surgery, a small needle was used as well as a cooling agent to numb the area around the insertion site. I didn't feel a thing. I was pleasantly surprised! I remember asking a few questions as my mouth was being prepped for surgery...at sometime shortly afterwards I fell unconscious, and woke up ....in no pain at all. My mouth was just a bit sore ( jaw was tight and restricted), swollen, and stuffed with guaze. All things I expected. The staff and surgical assistants were lovely. They all complement Dr. Landis very well and made one presumably scary ordeal a pleasant and smooth one. It has been 12 days since my surgery at the time of this post. I surprisingly haven't experienced any moderate or severe pain given the extent of my surgery. Pain, although dull, is very minimal and intermittent. I'm very glad that I was referred to Dr. Landis, and you'll be too.

The most positive experience! Dr. Landis is a terrific oral surgeon. I had an implant placed The procedure was painless, quick and recovery is going very smoothly. His staff is most pleasant and helpful, everything was done on time, I never had to wait (something I really appreciate coming from another town)... Most grateful and would highly recommend Dr. Landis and everyone who works with him. THANK YOU!

Dr Landis is the BEST! I am in my 70s and have been to many oral surgeons but Dr. Landis and his entire office are just great. Everything runs smoothly, everyone is kind and efficient. I am a big scaredy cat when it comes to dental procedures but having my tooth pulled was effortless. He had looked at the xrays and explained the procedure to me. His injections to numb the areas were spot on and I never felt a thing. He has a patient for life!

If you have a child, do not send them to this doctor. He does not understand how to speak to children in a down to earth and caring way. This may have been the absolute worst experience I've ever had with any dentist across multiple states as a military family. He was condescending, unprepared, and coarse. The manner in which he spoke both to my son (9) and myself was such that I would not even feel comfortable with him performing the procedure. We asked for a referral elsewhere. The only positive thing about the office was the kind check-in staff.

Dr. Landis is a fellow veteran that understands people. He is friendly, accurate, and processional. His work is impeccable. He puts you at ease regardless of the difficulty of any procedures. I had 2 different surgeries with quick recovery. Ask for a referral to his office. You will not be disappointed.
