Dr. William E. Wright graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He received the Lewis E. Ford and the Morris J. Thompson Memorial Awards for achievements in prosthodontics, and was elected to the Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary fraternities.

Dr. Wright has published extensively in the dental literature, and has served as guest editor of the Journal of the California Dental Association. He has lectured and given dental courses throughout North America, Europe and Asia. A scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving prosthodontics resident at the USC School of Dentistry in his honor.

Dr. Wright believes in customized, individualized dental care based on dental wellness and longevity. He believes in teaching people how to obtain optimum dental health, giving real control to patients where it belongs. As a result, his approach is both health-centered, taking the whole person into consideration and patient-focused, where ample time is taken to develop a relationship for the purpose of understanding and pursuing the patients dental health goals. Adopting this approach gives each patient the freedom to make choices with where they are on their life journey.

A lifelong student, Dr. Wright continues to train himself in both technical and behavioral aspects of dentistry. He regularly attends many continuing education courses during the year with special interest in treatment of complex dental problems. He enjoys helping people with issues ranging from simple preventive and restorative care to more complex dental issues. He completed a one year coursework in The Dental Practice Management Program at the Schuster Center for Professional Development in 2015. The learning included refinement of practice vision, mission and philosophy to better serve his patients.

Dr. Wright has practiced dentistry in Santa Barbara, Beverly Hills, and most recently in Larkspur, Marin County. He gained a great deal of knowledge from working in these very diverse areas of California and often draws upon the many lessons he learned. Currently, he is grateful for the opportunity to be associated with such an outstanding group of fellow professionals.
