Hi, I had a root canal done back in late February and it was my first one and hopefully last. I had only heard horror stories about route canals but did a consultation with Dr. Wells and came in shortly after. He and his staff were absolutely wonderful, accommodating and gentle and it turned out to be a very smooth process. They are very familiar with patients that are nervous and make it as comfortable a process as they possibly can. For me, I found it to be so much easier than anticipated. I can't speak highly enough about his beautiful office and I am grateful for a good experience.

Friendly staff, warm and welcoming atmosphere, Dr Wells was extremely gentle and reassuring throughout the entire procedure....extremely PLEASANT EXPERIENCE...I highly recommend this practice....OH, AND EXTREMELY RESPECTFUL OF YOUR TIME...I was called back at my appointment time each time and seen quickly by the Dr. If you're in search for an endodontist...look no further!!!

Dr Wells is the best! Realized now I should have posted this sooner but he's been treating me since 2014 and I trust no one else but him with my teeth. Many of these other Endodontists in concord don't seem they know their work...but Dr Wells is an expert! Always so nice and friendly as well as the staff!

I went in with a referral for a root canal on a calcified front tooth. Dr. Wells had mentioned it may be difficult but he would do his best to get it done and that he did! My procedure was painless and turned out better than expected. Dr. Wells is extremely talented and specialized in what he does I highly recommend his services to anyone who is nervous about having a procedure done. Thank you Dr. Wells!!!

Dr. JT Davis did an excellent job on my root canal. The experience was very good from beginning to end. As it was my first time ever getting a root canal, he allowed my husband to come in and explain the procedure to him. After returning to my regular dentist he even commented on the great job that was done. Excellent bed side manner!! Highly recommended!!! 5

If you're searching for reviews for an endodontics office you probably have a dental or oral issue you'd like handled swiftly and carefully. I was referred to this practice by my dentist to discover the cause of intense oral pain. Dr. Wells was able to identify the cause and correct immediately. The procedure was quick and done with precision and care. Dr. Wells treated my tooth/mouth like it was his day job. However, he treated me like I was a long-time friend--with what another review indicated as "with a human touch," or what we ascribe to doctors as " excellent bed-side manner." Additionally, the entire staff was friendly and genuinely concerned about my well-being. When it came to billing and insurance issues Jessie and Rachel were able to answer and resolve questions I had in a timely and thorough manner. Again, they provided service with accuracy and care for the individual. It isn't just providing necessary services that makes this practice stand out, but the ability of all staff to perform functions of individual roles with superior service--all providing the best care possible, even during our current health crisis---that prompted me to write a review. Thank you.

Had a root canal done by Dr. Wells. He and his team made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Didn't feel any pain. He was very responsive to all of my questions and even took the time to call me back to further answer questions about my procedure. Highly recommend!

I am late on writing this, as I've been meaning to sing Dr. Wells' praises! He is the kindest man. He came in on Christmas Eve to help my 7 year old daughter who was in extreme pain and needed a root canal. He took time away from his own family to help us when we were in a crisis. He couldn't have been kinder or more professional. My daughter loved him. He did an excellent job and we were able to have a wonderful Christmas holiday because he helped get our daughter out of pain! I can't recommend him enough!!

I just got done with my appointment with Dr. Wells and was so impressed I had to write a review! My dentist recommended that I see an endodontist for a tooth that received trauma about 6 years ago. After doing some research, and reading all of the great reviews, I decided to schedule an evaluation with Dr. Wells. I was so nervous going into the appointment, but was greeted with his staff who displayed nothing other than friendliness and professionalism! Dr. Wells was super personable, and I could tell he cared about his patients. His staff did a few x-rays and he ran a test and ultimately gave me the BEST NEWS EVER--no root canal needed at this time!! I was so relieved and thankful for an honest doctor!!! When I got to the register to check out, the front desk lady celebrated with me! :) I highly recommend Dr. Wells and his staff and if I ever need a root canal I will definitely be back!

Thank you Dr. Wells. He and his staff were great. I had a root canal done this morning, and it went very well for a root canal. It was nice to have someone take time and actually talk with you, not just rush you in and out. Thank you.

You may not believe this, but it's true! Dr. Wells was the 9th dentist, endodontist, or specialist to diagnose & finally RESOLVE a problem I'd had on just one tooth over the past 5 years or so. My problem started with a cavity (dentist #1), which then led a new dentist recommending a root canal (dentist #2). I had that done by dentist #3. After that I still had some pain/sensitivity which would come & go. After we moved to a new area, my regular dentists (actually 3 different dentists I saw at that practice over a span of 2 years) could not see anything from their regular X-rays but they tried a few things (like grinding down a top tooth to help with bite/pressure, prescribing antibiotics). One dentist at this practice sent me for a consult to an endodontist (dentist #7) who said he couldn't see anything but wanted to get a 2nd opinion from an oral surgeon (dentist #8). They came back and said I needed an apicoectomy. My regular dentist said I could do that or have the tooth extracted, but I asked for 3rd opinion, so he sent me to Dr. Wells (45-minutes away from where I live). After doing special X-rays and the consult with Dr. Wells, he identified & showed me the problem. The area below the problem tooth was inflamed & infected! He said I absolutely did not need an apicoectomy or extraction since he could fix the problem by properly re-doing the root canal. His state-of-the-art equipment plus his knowledge & experience saved my tooth, saved me a lot of money, recovery time, and has totally resolved my long-term issue. My pain is finally gone thanks to him! I would totally recommend Dr. Wells and his staff to anyone having any issues that go beyond what a regular dentist can perform or diagnose.

I could go on for an hour about how impressed I was with Dr John Wells and his staff! Both are in tandem and will provide you with the best dental experience you could ask for. I read the reviews prior to meeting these dedicated professional people. I can assure you there is a reason for all these great reviews. You will not find a better team!!

Hello, I recently had a root canal that was performed by Dr. Davis. I was hesitant because all of the reviews were for Dr. Wells. After speaking with the staff, I felt confident that I was in good hands. From the first moment I met Dr. Davis I felt very comfortable. He did a great job with my root canal, he made sure I got all the extra attention I needed. The tooth was way in the back and that's hard. He went over and above and I would highly recommend him. I feel blessed to know him.

My general dentist sent me to Dr. Wells due to complications of 2 Root canals she performed. I was in excruciating pain when I went to see Dr. Wells. He and his staff took EXCELLENT CARE of me!!! He and his techs were VERY GENTLE, COMFORTING, and Knowledgeable and corrected the problem that was causing me pain in my FURST visit Told! Dr. Wells even told me about a pain relieving method of 2 Tylenols, 2 Advils, and caffeine to relieve my pain (I chose coffee) IT TOTALLY WORKED!!! I did Not have to take even 1/2 of the prescription pain meds he prescribed. Dr. Wells is a PHENOMENAL Endodontist! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him!!! As I told him, I did not like the reason that I had to meet him, but I'm SURE GLAD I DID!!! Thank you Dr. Wells! Forever grateful, Christine West

I've taken the time to write this review on behalf of my husbands recent experience as it was such a disheartening one. First off, he's giving 3 stars as Dr. Wells' dental experience was a good one. He was gentle and very much satisfied with his services. Secondly, the practice requests full payment upfront and that is their poragative to do so; however, with that being said, you would think they would be courteous enough to file the claim in a timely manner. This was not the case. After making several follow-up calls, the claim was finally submitted. There were a number of excuses for the late submittal. Initially, they tried to blame the provider, then there was that the claims person was out of the office and lastly that it would be submitted by the end of a particular day. Once the claim was finally submitted, close to a week later, it was processed by the provider in a timely manner. The check was issued to the provider and now he waits to receive the refund. On his first follow-up call upon notification of payment from the provider, he was advised that the doctor had to sign the check. This went on for several days. Then the check was supposedly mailed out on a particular day and that was not true as the postmarked envelope proved so. He has finally received the check; however, he hopes that he would not require any services in the future as it would be hard to pass up on quality dental care because the staff doesnt follow suit with their services.
