Dr. Carlile is amazing! I have never enjoyed going to the Dentist until now! He has done wonders to me teeth and fixed some fillings that my previous dentist did not do correctly! They also take my insurance which makes it super affordable! If you are looking for someone who knows what to do I would 10/10 suggest Carlile Dental!

The best dentist I have had. Dr. Carlile is highly skilled in the reconstruction of old and damaged dental structures. He is very open minded and willing to work with the patient to develop a long term dental health strategy. He is the first dentist I have met that is not in a hurry to slap a crown on and call it a day. This dentist works with the patient for the most practical and cost effective outcomes.

I would like to say I'm not one to go to the dentist ,I dread it but I found Dr Carlile on the internet and truthfully I'm glad I did,Dr Carlile and his staff made me feel like I'm at home ,he is an amazing and talented guy if I could show you before pictures and after pictures you would be impressed as much as I was!!Thank You Dr Carlile for the amazing work and the kindness you and your staff has shown me from the minute I walked through his door!!If I could rate this 100 I definitely would!!

I just had my first appointment and am very pleased with my experience. Everyone in the office was kind and professional. Dr. Carlile was very attentive and made me feel at ease. His explanations were thorough and understandable. He was highly recommended by a friend and I highly recommend him as well.

Dr. Carlile is a great dentist. He is informative, attentive, and helpful. He even followed up with me via email after my appointment to provide me additional information. His staff is great as well! I have had great experiences at Dr. Carlile's office and I recommend him!

Absolutely love this dental office!! Dr carlile really takes the time and listens to your concerns and needs.... and always worked with my crazy ER schedule to fit me in.. his entire staff is also very sweet and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them

Dr. Carlile and his staff are fantastic! Very friendly and professional. I live outside the area for much of the year and sometimes have had to make an appointment on short notice when back in town. Dr. Carlile has gone out of his way to rearrange his schedule or stay late to see me and always provides excellent care. Thank you, Dr. Carlile!

As someone who is not the most comfortable with going to the dentist, I have to say this place is fantastic. From the front desk to the assistant to John himself I received exceptional care and service. I was made to feel cared about comfortable and welcome. The cleaning was amazing because they use what I think is called an ultrasonic cleaner. (Not a fan of the scraping!) I had a few issues to be assessed and worked on and John was informative and professional but also kind and positive. He told me how we are going to fix it and kept it somehow uplifting. In the past I left dental offices ashamed for having a cavity and here I left feeling like there was a small problem with an easy solution. On a side note, I had actual real life conversations with everyone I came into contact with. Not just small talk and business as usual. This may not be important for everyone receiving dental care but I think it speaks to the heart and character of the office. Thank you guys so much for the pleasant experience. See you next time!!!!!

I met Dr Carlile 22 years ago because his practice was across the street from the new house I moved into in a new town. He immediately solved some of my dental problems EASILY - and in far less expensive ways than other dentists had quoted me. Now? I live 30 minutes away and still travel to his office in Skaneateles because I know I will be taken care of - and my family also now are his patients too! If you want personalized, customized, individualized care where you don't feel like a cog in the machine, THIS is the kind of practice to go to!

My family and I have been going to Dr. John Carlile for our dental needs for over 20 years. We have always had excellent care with Dr. Carlile and his supporting staff. He and his staff are a great asset to our community. I appreciate how Dr. Carlile stays informed and educated on the latest modern dental procedures. He always puts his patients first. We are very thankful to have Dr. Carlile as our dentist.

Dr. Carlile and his staff are professional, kind, and so personable! Recently I chipped my tooth (ofcourse it was after business hours) and I called the office to leave a vm hoping to get an appointment as soon as possible. They called me back the very next morning within minutes of opening and re-arranged their whole schedule to make sure they could get me in that day. The work he did was great! Efficient, no pain, and I'm still convinced that the tooth looks even better now than from before it was chipped. If you're someone who struggles with fear of getting dental work done, I highly recommend Dr. Carlile. He's patient, keeps you informed throughout the process, very knowledgable and competant.

I cannot say enough about the excellent care I have received from Dr. Carlile over the past several years. He is compassionate, thorough, and meticulous. He has resolved problems for me that other dentists were unable to fix. Most recently, I had a minor dental emergency. Instead of having me wait for an appointment during normal office hours, he made special arrangements to come in on his day off to treat me. He went above expectation to accommodate me and make sure I would not have discomfort. Thank you Dr. Carlile for all you do.

Wow, my first time to Doctor Carlie's office, I was very impressed. I was referred to him by one of his current patients. I broke a tooth on accident in the after noon, new to the area, and the doctor got me in the very next day. After introductions I could feel that he cared about people and fixing there teeth. As soon as he looked at my tooth he was eager to fix the problem right away. I felt that he enjoyed what he does, a feeling I have not felt from previous dentists in the past. 5% of the bill if paying that same day is a huge bonus. I have my next appointment scheduled and look forward to going back to see him.

I can't say enough about the care, expertise, and concern I have experienced at the office of Dr. John Carlile. He is a highly skilled, true professional in every sense of the word. Everyone at the office goes above and beyond what is expected to insure the very best for the health and well being of patients. Dr. Carlile truly listens to your concerns and does whatever is necessary to make you feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Bottom Line Up Front: Dr. Carlile has changed my attitude about dentistry. A thorough and thoughtful clinical approach, a simultaneously gentle and efficient technique and superior pain control. If the thought of going to the dentist makes you break out in a cold sweat (that would be me), consider letting Dr. Carlile evaluate whether he can help you. I ignored dental issues quite literally for years after a traumatic and painful experience with a dentist's office in Virginia, but two weeks ago I developed pain on the right side of my mouth that I simply could not ignore. My wife is already a patient of his, and encouraged me to make an appointment with him. The immediate problem was fixed with quite literally zero pain, and I've scheduled a follow up in two weeks...a step that I would never have taken if I had any hesitation. Many dentists advertise as "gentle," but Dr. Carlile is the real deal. Don't put it off like I did!

Our family just moved to the area from NC. I initially went to Dr. Carlile for an emergency toothache, called in the morning around 10 in the middle of the week and was quickly seen that same day!! To my astonishment I had temporary relief and an appointment for a root canal the NEXT day! The office staff were amazingly, friendly and accommodating. After my experience I set up appointments for our whole family. Quick backstory: I have three kids and have had a less than stellar experience at a PEDIATRIC DENTIST in the past. Needless to say I had crazy anxiety the day of my youngest (5) cavity filling appointment. BUT WHEN I TELL YOU I HAVE COMPLETE AND UTTER CONFIDENCE IN DR. CARLILE AND HIS OFFICE, WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT. Dr. Carlile was so very patient with my son, drew pictures to explain what was coming up in a manner my son not only understood and eased his anxiety but made it fun! He explained every instrument and noise that was to come. The entire time he was so sweet and was encouraging. I cant say enough about Dr. Carlile and his staff. It was such a pleasure to be around such an experienced, knowledgeable and accommodating person let alone a Doctor. I urge anyone to make their appointment today, you won't be disappointed. This town is lucky to have such an amazing dental practice!
