Dr. John Greif is an Evansville, Indiana native who began his academic career at Resurrection Catholic School and also attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and Reitz Memorial Catholic High School. Dr. Greif is the son of Mrs. Joan Greif and the late Dr. L. Charles Greif of Newburgh, Indiana. He has six siblings. Dr. Greif and his wife, Samantha, are members of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Newburgh, Indiana. Together they have seven children. Dr. Greif enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf and tennis.

I had an appointment with the dermatologist that was in the same office as John C. Greis dentist. My Lyft driver dropped me off early and I noticed that the door was locked and the staff at the dermatology office was out from 12-1 apparently for lunch. I sat in the lobby of the dentist office and saw another patron in a wheelchair attempting to get in the dermatologist. I went into the hall and explained to the lady and her escort that the office was closed between 12:00 and 1:00 and then I was waiting in the dentist office where it's air condition and there are seats. The area between the two offices has no seating available and is extremely small and cramped. I sat unnoticed for about 5 minutes but the customer in the wheelchair and her companion were talking which brought the attention of the receptionist. The receptionist asked me if she could help me and I explained that I was just trying to get out of the heat and waiting for the dermatologist office to open at 1:00 p.m as well as the other 2 ladies that were with me. The receptionist then rudely informed us that we could not sit in the lobby due to covid although she was not wearing a mask herself no one was but the ladies that were with me had masks on. The elderly lady was shocked and said that she had never seen such cruelty out of another human being so as it stands I'm sitting outside on a piece of cobblestone and they are just in the hall between the two businesses. One standing up, the other in a wheelchair.

Very professional. Had a very good experience considering my mouth was wide open for 1.5 hours. Dr. Greif and his staff are great. I was expecting a painful recovery but once the numbness wore off it was literally no big deal considering all I had done!

I am typically very nervous going to the dentist. My whole experience at Dr Greif's was very good! The girls at the front desk greeted me with smiles and were very helpful. You can just hear the happiness throughout the office. Dr Greif was wonderful. He spent time explaining what I had wrong and what he could do to fix the problem. He seemed to be a very happy person and caring as well! I would recommend this office, this doctor to anyone. I have already recommended Dr Grief to the family and friends I have talked to!

I was very impressed when I walked in. I had never been to a doctor like this before, and he made me feel super comfortable, the staff was so friendly and professional. I learned more about my gum health here than I have in most dentist's offices. I highly recommend this dentist

Dr.Greif took the time to explain his findings and his recommendations thoroughly. He was able to squeeze me in later the same day to fix an unexpected issue. I received a call the next day asking for an update on my recovery.
