Dr. George was born and raised in Pittsfield, MA. He attended St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. He then attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1987. After graduation, Dr. George went into private practice, taking over his fathers practice who retired after 40 years of service to the community. After one year in the original building Dr. George built a new state-of-the-art dental office across the street and has been there ever since.
Dr. George is committed to provide the best treatments possible for his patients. That is why he takes many more hours of continuing education classes each year than are required for state licensure. Dr. George is the only dentist licensed to perform Laser Periodontal Therapy (LPT) in the area after graduating from The Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry. Dr. George is also a graduate of the Great Lakes Education Center for Advanced CEREC Training and has studied extensively at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida.
When not in the office, Dr. George is kept busy with all the family matters that go along with having four children and a devoted wife. Dr. George also volunteers for various church and civic organizations and is involved with the newly instituted mobile dental clinic developed by the Massachusetts Dental Society in order to provide dental services to children in the area who may not have access any other way.
Born and raised in Cheshire, Massachusetts, Dr. Dermody is a proud Berkshire native. Like Dr.George, he also attended Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. In 2020, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Dermody and his sister Patrice, a registered dental hygienist, joined the practice in the summer of 2020. They, and their triplet brother, have been patients of the practice since they were in grade school. It has been a lifelong dream of his to return home to practice dentistry. He is Invisalign certified, and prides himself in staying current in modern dental practices involving dental materials, restorative dentistry, digital dentistry, and pain management. He is also an active member in the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and Berkshire District Dental Society.
In addition to providing the absolute best dental care for our patients, our team is also dedicated to serving the community and trying to make the world a better place for those less fortunate. Whether it be our Smiles For Life fund drive where the team raised several thousands of dollars for childrens charities, our annual food drive or the annual trips overseas to provide care to various third world countries, our team is always willing to do what it takes. We look forward to welcoming you into our practice.

Called for a cleaning they were booked tell june and they want 250 doller aspen dental going to give me free xrays and cleaning started at 105 but they got deal going basic cleaning 88 dollers and they got me a appointment in two days aspen dental seem like the people to go with this is a honest review like all my reviews they earned this one

I came in for a cleaning, as well as a filling. The staff were extremely kind and my dentist was quick, painless, and very kind. I definitely recommend coming here

Everyone at Dr. George's practice has been very pleasant and informative. I had bleeding gums, lost a couple teeth and needed the surgery. I heard an ad for laser treatment with Dr. George on our local radio station. I decided to go there and try the laser treatment instead. That was more than 10 years ago, and I haven't had any problems with my gums since then.....I haven't seen any blood anymore! I have been very pleased with this outcome and would highly recommend this practice to anyone!

this dentist office is extremely prejudice against american people. especailly if you are poor. this dentist only accept illegal immagrants and extremely rich people. i wouldnt recommend any poor people to go to this dental office

Haven't even walked in the door and the receptionist who I scheduled my appointment with wouldn't even look at scheduling till I admitted I don't like going to the dentist. Made it awkward and was quite frankly extremely rude. I still have the appointment, but that was enough of an interaction to make me rather upset . Update: my nerves got the better of me on the phone call, the experience was very smooth and painless. My oral hygienist was very easy with me and explained what she was about to do before she did it. Friendly all around. Had to correct myself.

My husband called the practice as a new patient as he's having painful issues. He was told that because he has Fallon Insurance that they won't see him even though the practice takes Fallon Insurance. The receptionist informed him that they aren't taking Fallon patients due to Covid. Sounds like discrimination at its finest. If he had private insurance they were ready to give him the appointment....shame on you Dr. George
