Dr. Athos gets to know every patient as an individual and always focuses on what is best for the person behind the teeth. He genuinely enjoys the intricacies of each patient and strives to help them achieve what they desire, whether pure health, the beauty of cosmetics, or the function of a mouth full of implants.
Dr. Athos is in love with the dental team he has built here. Each day, they bring joy to him and to others. He firmly believes that when you go to work and it doesnt feel like work, it is because you have surrounded yourself with the right work family.
Dr. H. Todd Cubbon graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry with a DDS in 1970. After 51 years in practice, he decided it was time to find a new dental home for his great and loyal patients who are family to him. By pure luck and timing brought on by COVID, Dr. Athos and Dr. Cubbon met and discovered they had similar practice philosophies. They agreed to merge Dr. Athoss practice into Dr. Cubbons at a new Monee location.

Amber transitioned from the clinical side to office management after practicing hygiene for 15 years. She spends any free time she has with her two sons and dog. They love being around family and friends and traveling as much as possible.
Danielle has been working with Dr. Athos as a hygienist since 2008. She loves building relationships with patients and seeing multiple generations of the same family. Her hobbies include reading, attending concerts, and doing outdoor activities with her husband and three children, especially camping and boating on the lake.
Vanessa has been in dentistry since 2002 first as a dental assistant, then as a certified dental instructor, and finally as a hygienist. She strives to provide superior care by sharpening her knowledge and skills and familiarizing herself with each patient's needs. Vanessa loves family time and traveling.
Linda has been a hygienist since 1976. After a brief retirement, she joined Maureen in Dr. Athoss exciting journey at Athos Dental. She loves catching up with her patients, many of who are cherished friends. Outside the office, she enjoys cheering on her athletic grandsons, walking, spinning, weight training, reading, and gardening.
Maureen has been part of our team for nearly 20 years. Recently retired, she still lends a helping hand when needed. Since 1996, she has worked part time at the Prairie State College Dental Hygiene Clinic. Family, traveling, and weekends in Wisconsin make for a blessed semi-retirement!
Justine loves helping and interacting with patients. She admires the joy that a smile can bring to someone and is dedicated to making sure each patient has a comfortable dental experience. During her spare time, she likes to go bike riding, try new recipes, and learn new things.
A CDA since 2010, Danielle prioritizes the patient experience, focusing on comfort, education, and building personal relationships. She loves serving on our team, whose goal is to offer an encouraging, positive experience. When not working, she is spending time with family, gardening, or being active.
Little Emily hopes to start assisting soon and will eventually become a dental hygienist. She loves baking (not cooking) and attending concerts and music festivals. Her bulldog, Mollie, is her favorite hello after a long day of work.

I'm a new patient to Athos Dental. They were recommended to me by my previous dentist. Well I have to say, Dr Athos was FANTASTIC! I had a wisdom tooth pulled on Tuesday. I was totally impressed with Dr Athos demeanor and talent. He made MY experience TOTALLY PAINLESS and NO STRESS !!! Yes, I would recommend his practice to anyone. I'm a senior citizen who probably complains as much as anyone else does, so it is a pleasure to advocate a Dr and a practice, a business, that I feel goes that extra step to accommodate and serve.

The best around - The G.O.A.T....Been going to Dr. Athos for around 15 years now. Happy he opened his own clinic. Previously, I had a hard time finding a good dentist especially after growing out of the "family dentist", who happened to be awful.

Had a crown break this morning on my front tooth. Stopped in after work to make an appointment to see if they could help me out. The Doc got me in and out in about an hour with a temp crown and an appointment to get a crown put on thank you guys so much! Life savers

This place is awesome! When my dentist retired, I was nervous about going to another place. I had been with my dentist for at least 25 years! However, to my surprise, change was a good thing! The office staff is very welcoming. My hygienist, Vanessa, is so thorough and Dr. ATHOS is a dentist who cares! He spends quality time explaining procedures and he seems to want the best for his patients!!!'
