John A. Schehl, DDS, graduated from The Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1997 with Honors. He has a B.A. in English Literature from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Schehl has been in practice for over 18 years. He has been serving the Mount Vernon area since 1998 and the McLean area since 2001. Dr. Schehl attends hundreds of hours of educational classes and CEU credits each year. Class types include Endodontic Seminars, Advancement in Dental Implant Surgery, and Improvements to Cosmetics.
Dr. Edward Hindman is a 1980 graduate of the VCU/MCV School of Dentistry. He attended the College of William & Mary and earned his Bachelors Degree in Psychology at the George Washington University. In 2014 Dr. Hindman sold his family practice of 34 years near Inova Fairfax Hospital. He has joinedourpractice and is thrilled to be a vital member of our hardworking team. He brings upbeat enthusiasmin his caringfor our patients.
He married his high school sweetheart Lucy (Fort Hunt HS classes 72 and 71). Their daughter, Chaney, is a West Potomac HS graduate and a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Alexandria. The Hindmans both grew up as traveling Army brats though consider themselves local natives having lived in this lovely Mt. Vernon area for over 50 years. Dr. Hindman looks forward to reconnecting with the many alumni of FHHS that utilize this practice.
Dr. Hindman has a lifelong passion for physical fitness and is a frequent runner along the Mt. Vernon Trail. The Hindmans vacation in sunny places where palms trees thrive and enjoy the Alexandria restaurant scene for great meals.
