Dr. Guerrieri is a Chicago native who received his undergraduate degree from Augustana College in 1985. He attended Loyola University School of Dentistry where he earned his doctorate of dental surgery in 1989. While continuing to pursue his dental education, Dr. Guerrieri has practiced in the Chicago area for the past 30 years, 21 of them at the WoodDale location. He currently practices at the new location in Itasca, Illinois. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Guerrieri 's philosophy is to provide the highest quality dentistry in a caring and friendly environment. According to Dr. Guerrieri, each patient 's treatment is tailored to the needs and desires of that individual using state of the art materials and techniques. 'We want to educate our patients regarding their treatment options, prevent disease where ever possible, and provide beautiful smiles that last a lifetime' states Dr. Guerrieri.
Ewa is originally from Poland and moved to the Chicago area in 1992. She started as our dental assistant in 2000 while completing her training as a registered dental hygienist at UIC, graduating in 2005. She has become our lead person in the areas of preventative care and periodontal therapy. Ewa is fluent in English and Polish. She is a member of ADHA, CDS, and ISDS.
Ewa is proud to be a part of a team that focuses on the latest technology and procedures to offer the best care possible while creating a friendly and relaxing environment. She enjoys meeting new patients, building personal and professional relationships with her patients while helping fulfill their dental needs.
Laura has been with our office since 1984. She began her career as a dental assistant and has progressed to become our office manager. Her wide range of experience gives her great insight into clinical, business, and billing matters. This an invaluable asset when dealing with insurance issues and making sure the patients receive the maximum benefits to which they are entitled.
Rachel started working at our office as a dental assistant in November 2020. She brings 6 years of patient care and clinical experience to the office as she is also a CNA and has worked for Central DuPage Hospital. Rachel continues to grow her dental knowledge and training by being a student of Dr. Guerrieri.
Rachel is Dr. Guerrieris second set of eyes and hands as she assists with all dental procedures, X-rays, and sterilization of all the instruments. Additionally, she provides a clean and comfortable environment for all patients, helping to put them at ease.

I am very disappointed in this dental facility I wouldn't recommend it. Long story short I went few months ago to mold my front teeth together. Unfortunately there way of helping does not work not only they molded the teeth together but also they decided to sand them down. Like always cause and effect the mold that keeps the teeth together fell of and I already lost\damaged 2 teeth.

The lady Ewa with the arm tattoo chipped some of my front 2 teeth with the cleaning. She laughed extremely loud after she left the room. My teeth hurt now everyday. I come back to show John and he puts poison behind my 2 front teeth with a scraper. I had irregular heart beats that night and head/stomach aches. I could taste and feel the poison travel into my stomach when I swallowed Update: 15 months later my tongue still trembles when I touch my 2 front teeth from her hackjob! And still a chip in the center and a crack down the middle of tooth #8! With little about 6-8 little chips she carved out of the bottom with an electric tool. I also can still taste the poison behind my 2 front teeth everyday!!! He took HD color pictures but only sent about half of them modified to be blurry black and white. I called over 8 times and he never called me back.

I have Been with Dr Guerrieri for several ,several, several years. He and the family as i will call them are wonderful people. Myself , my family my sister and her family all go to him and i would not recommend anyone else!

Been going here for almost a decade. The team (Dr.Guerreri, Ewa, and Laura) make the atmosphere so conducive and relaxing that it almost feels like home. They have taken care of some my major and minor teeth issues in a timely, thoughtful manner. Highly recommended!

Five stars isn't enough, Dr. Guerrieri and his staff are amazing. Dr. Guerrieri is very knowledgeable and informative. Everything is explained in detail before any work is preformed. Ewa (hygienist) is very detailed, nothing will get pass her. She takes pride in her work and explains the importance of hygiene. She engages in great conversations during the appointment. Laura (front desk) takes care of all the insurance needs. She is professional and friendly at all times. You'll definitely feel like you're a part of their family not just a patient. Highly recommended, for the whole family. Dr. Guerrieri and Ewa are amazing with kids as well. We been patients for over 15 years and counting.

I am so particular about who works on my teeth that I avoided going to the dentist for years! Dr. G takes the time to listen to the problem, doesn't judge, and is gentle. Also has a great sense of humor which is something I value. I had a great experience and wish I hadn't moved so far away because I would be returning for all of my treatment!

Dr.Guerreri and Ewa are nice people, but he is the worst dentist i have ever seen. I initially went in for a cleaning which was fine. I then had my teeth looked at and I needed a filling replaced. Fast forward to getting my filling. It was done and my bite was off. It was not filed down enough. Went for a second visit and was told that the numbing medicine that was used is what was causing inflammation. I go back a third time and they didn't see anything wrong. come to find out that my filling wasn't far enough from another tooth which was causing pain. Okay, then an x-ray was taken and he shaved that spot between my teeth down. The pain mostly went away but I still have issues with that tooth. Plus they made me pay for an x-ray that wasn't warranted if they did the job properly the first time. I moved to Tennessee and went to a dentist a year later to have him tell me that Dr.Guerreri didn't put the wedge far enough in and my tooth wasn't filled far enough down. This caused excess food to continually get caught in there for the past year. I was told there was some decay of my bone in that area because the space was in there collecting food causing excess decaying. Avoid this dentist if you don't want problems with your teeth. Poor customer service and careless dental work.
