Dr. Andrew Johann Graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1996, receiving the John F. Johnson Society Scholarship Award in Prosthodontics and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. He has completed a Masters degree in Prosthodontics from University of Minnesota in 1999. Dr. Johann is currently in private practice in Boulder, Colorado. He is a current member of ADA, CDA,ACP, AAP, BCDS. Dr. Johann has been active in local and international dental education serving as past president of Boulder Dental Forum, and lecturing from Dentsply/Ankylos, Arizona Chapter of American College of Prosthodontics, Boulder Implant Study Club, and other local dental groups, presenting topics on 'Surgical and Prosthetic Team Work to Achieve Stable Esthetic and Functional Implant Success', When to do an Implant Crown', 'How Long Should Dental Treatment Last, and ' Immediate Provisionalization of the Ankylos Implant.
Dr. Ryan C Lewis received his Bachelors Degree in Biology at Murray State University in 2006. He then earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree in 2011 from the prestigiousUniversity of Louisville, School of Dentistry. Dr. Lewis then completed a 3-year post-graduate training program in Prosthodontics and a Masters of Science in Dentistry at the University of Louisville in 2015. Whileat UofL Dr. Lewis received recognition from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry on digital guided implant surgery. This extra training makes Dr. Lewis the consummate dentist, ensuringyour satisfaction from single tooth restoration to total mouth reconstruction. Dr. Lewis has worked in private practice since 2011 and has volunteered his dental services in Haiti and the Philippines. Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with his family; which includes his wife, twin girls, two dogs and a horse and is quite adept at hunting, fishing, hiking, and biking.
Theresa joined the practice of Dr. Johannin July 2000. She started out as Dr. Johann's dental assistant and transitioned to office manager in 2019. Theresa enjoys providing patient care. Her nurturing way is comforting to our patients and she provides an understanding of dental procedures.
Theresa is a native to Colorado. She and her husband share a love of music. They have one son, Michael. Theresa is an expert seamstress and does small projects outside her busy work schedule. Her doll collection includes homemade dolls starting from 1957.
Laura joined JohannProstheticsin 2021 as the Communications Manager. She accidentally got into dental about 6 years ago just helping a friend out in her office and found a change of career. Laura has since been at the front desk of general dentistry, ran an Ortho practice and did marketing for Oral Surgery. She loves learning all the aspects of these different offices and roles. Laura's favorite part of this new role isbuilding patient relationshipsand great continued relationships with our referral offices, ensuring that each patient receives the best care possible.
Laura has lived in every time zone, and grew up on the East Coast but settled here in Colorado 11 years ago with her 3 almost grown kids and 2 dogs. She loves paddleboarding, hiking, camping and jeeping with her kids and friends.
Mike brings seasoned knowledge of the design and construction of all types of dental appliances from full/partial denture prosthetics to all types of orthodontic devices. He earned his CDT certification in 1985; however, his education in the field is forever growing to stay up-to-date with growing trends and new technology. Examples of this recent growth would be his expertise in flexible partials along with the latest implant technology along with learning how to print and scan digital models.
Mikes love of the dental field stems from his years losing teeth as a hockey player (now passionate trail runner) and he is honored to be a part of the talented team at Johann Prosthetics. Moving to Colorado has been a lifelong dream and he is excited to be able to marry both the perfect outdoor environment with the perfect work environment.
Lisa was pick up and delivery staff for a lab in CA and worked her way up to a crown and bridge tech from 1987-1992. She moved from CA in 1993 and worked for Virginia Village Dental Lab in Denver from 1996-2002. She opened and operated her own dental lab in Westminster from 2002-2005 and worked for Kirmeier dental lab in Westminster from 2005-2015.
Angie grew up in the Chicago suburbs where she started assisting at the age of 17. She later attended Triton College in a dental laboratory technician program specializing in ceramics and fixed restorative, where she graduated with honors and received her Associates Degree, while still assisting in a dental office and working in a dental lab.
After graduating in 1997, she moved to Colorado with her husband. Currently Angie has 30 years experience as an EDDA and Lab Technician. She thoroughly enjoys sculpting and designing teeth and creating better smiles. Angie spends her free time with her husband and daughter, whom she shares the love of art and music with.
Liz has been a dental assistant for 11 years. She loves dentistry because it is an opportunityto improve someone's life, and she genuinely enjoys meeting and connecting with each patient and ensuring they feel comfortable.
Growing up on a farm in upstate NY, Liz always dreamed of snowboarding the Rocky Mountains and summiting the high peaks. She moved to Colorado in 2011 and spends all of her free time doing exactlythat.
She loves to hear about your outdoor adventures and has many stories to share. As a new addition to Johann Prosthetics in 2020 she is excited to be part of exceptionaldentistry and looks forward to meeting you!

The only dentist to trust with crowns or any sort of replaced teeth. I spent thousands of dollars before I even knew that crown specialists (prosthodontists) existed! In his office he has rewards from "Best Dentist in Colorado" and even one of the "Best in the USA". He lived up to the hype. My replaced teeth meet perfectly!

I was recommended to him by my former dentist who moved and got implants from an oral surgeon then Dr.Johann made and fitted my new "fixed Hybrids" solving a long term problem causing me almost endless misery, discomfort and former dissatisfaction. The look the quality and the care taken to get it right make me feel like he has the talent to build what I compare to a custom Corvette restoration and Creation ! Love my teeth! Recommend Andrew to anyone looking for the Best!

Dr. Johann has created several crowns for me over the years. Each time, he has been excellent with the aesthetics and technical aspects of the work, and very compassionate and considerate of my needle phobia. He and his staff are fun and pleasant, which takes all the dread out of dentistry!

This is the best place to go when you want your dentures or teeth fixed properly. The staff is amazing they are so friendly and caring. I had the worst experience with my first set of dentures and now I have the most amazing smile. I have not smiled so much in at least five years. I want to thank everyone in the office for being so friendly and understanding. Dr. Johann is amazing and his wife is so sweet. The lab tech Robert is amazing also. Dr Johann and him work so well together to make sure that everything is perfect. I just want to say thank you to everyone involved. You have my recommendation and if you need someone for a reference I am here. Again THANK YOU for everything.
