Dr. Joel Sachs has been providing outstanding dental care since 1979. An esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Sachs maintains memberships with such prestigious professional organizations as the American Dental Society, Anne Arundel Dental Society, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and serves on the Anne Arundel Dental Society Board.
To stay on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in dentistry, Dr. Sachs commits to attending a variety of continuing education courses across the nation. He also improves his practice by using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques in his dental treatments. This was my first dentist experience. Im 37 years old and have never been to a dentist in my life. I came here and was treated incredibly. Dr. Sachs has great bedside manner and helped to ease my anxiety. The staff is great. I did end up needing 3 fillings but it was done quick and easily with no pain. Setting up appts has been easy. The hygienist is very sweet. All in all, a great experience.

If I could give him zero stars I would. This man should not preform dentistry. Me and another family member have had to have teeth pulled because of root canals and crowns that he has put on. With my tooth, my molar second from the back, my crown: did not match my teeth pattern, was way too high when he put it on and he gaslit me into thinking that it would blend in over time (it didn't. I had a tooth too high for a year which cause constant pain and infection), wasn't secured or placed properly and had gaps under it where food and floss would get caught, made my tooth compound into my jaw bone. The actual tooth was not prepped properly in any way shape form. It had: multiple root stoppers in it, underprepared roots, constant pain and infection. When I had to go get my tooth treated, it took them two sessions to get my tooth prepped and undo all the mess that he had caused. Even then they wanted to do a third treatment but I was frustrated and just had to have it pulled. When it was pulled it was just absolutely impossible to do because it was compacted into my jaw bone. My mother had a similar experience when she had to have her teeth retreated by another dentist. Except with her, her new dentist found that there was a tip of the metal shaver (the tool they used to basically file the root and make room for the nerve blockers). It had broken off and caused so much infection that her jaw had some bone loss because of it. Some of the dental hygienists are so sweet and nice and don't deserve to work under him. SAVE YOUR TEETH. DON'T GO HERE.

I've been coming here since I was a kid! Dr. Sachs and his entire crew are top notch and take their time to make sure you are taken care of 100%!! I would highly recommend this firm to anybody that's looking for a dental office that puts their patients above everything else!

Love this dentist! Its been years since I found an amazing dentist. I have really sensitive teeth and they did a wonderful job making me comfortable. It was very relaxing. The place is clean, friendly, passionate about there job and just amazing. Big thank you to the staff and Everyone for all you do!

I can't say enough about care I received during both my visits in less than 5 days apart, To the staff down to Dr Sachs , you all calmed my fears an my anxiety an I left feeling so relieved an happy ! If I could rate you all 10's I certainly would , I'm even looking forward to my next appt,, THAT ALONE SPEAKS VOLUMES! Thanks so much to you all!

I've been coming to Dr. Sachs on and off since I was a child. My mother worked here, and I was as pleased then as I am now with the level of care Dr. Sachs and his staff have always given. This place is top notch for you, your kids, the whole family. I know a lot of my large numbered family comes here, so why don't you and yours.
