Born and raised in the state of Washington, Dr. Gardner grew up in a small farming town where he was very active in the community. After high school, Dr. Gardner attended Gonzaga University with an academic scholarship and earned his Bachelor of Science degree while graduating with high honors and being awarded Summa Cum Laudestatus. Dr.Gardner continued his education at Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry where he recieved his DMD degree (Doctor of Dental Medicine) and was honored for his academic excellence through numerous awards and membership to the prestigious Omnicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. Dr. Gardner's training was completed at the Oregon Health Sciences University Orthodontic Specialty Program where he earned his certification in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics
Dr. Gardner is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Mount Baker Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics. Washington State Society of Orthodontist, American Board of Orthodontics, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Gardner regularly attends continuing education seminars to keep current on the latest technologies and treatment techniques, and he participates in an orthodontic study club with colleagues
As a board certified orthodontic specialist, Dr. Gardner has the advanced training and special skills required to manage tooth movement and guide facial development. He is dedicated to providing excellent orthodontic treatment through quality service and technical expertise
Dr. Gardner puts a priority on our community, and he and his entire team are involved in many efforts to support various civic organizations,local schools, and youth activities in Skagit County and Island County. Dr. Gardner and his entire team participate in and support community events in Mount Vernon, Burlington, Sedro-Woolley, Anacortes, Stanwood, Oak Harbor, and Coupeville (and more). In addition, Dr. Gardner regularly attends events to help support Seattle's Children's Hospital

Great staff and treated me like family! Had a great time over the years with them working on my teeth and adding in braces. Such an adventure but i finally got them off thanks to them!! Wonderful place and even better staff! Also, special thank you to Ms. Jen for being there the whole time! My teeth look amazing!

Dr. Gardner was straight forward and quick with what he needed to do. My braces were on and off in a year with everything going smoothly. The staff is very polite and helpful with my questions. I look amazing! Dr Gardner and his staff are so wonderful. They always listened and answered my questions completely. As an adult, getting braces is a big deal and kind of intimidating. Gone are the days we remember of the orthodontists in the 80s and 90s. This is a fun, relaxed atmosphere that makes the whole orthodontic process painless. Dr Gardner is a magician! What a great experience! I had braces as a kid but my front tooth shifted as I aged so at age 50 I decided it was time to fix. What a beautiful job their entire team did. I'm SO pleased!!! What a wonderful group of friendly staff. Thank you Dr Gardener & team!

From the moment you arrive you feel welcome. The receptionist are very kind and helpful. Great service. Very knowledgeable dentist team. Dr Gardner and the assistants are excellent. My kids have been taken care in this office for almost 5 years, and they have great smiles, beautiful teeth and no cavities. Financing is easy. Highly recommend this place!

I have two children who see Dr Gardner and his amazing staff. They are very accommodating and so friendly. Ever since my children have gotten their braces they smile so much more.
