Dr. Joel Johnson has been practicing dentistry in the Northeast Columbia community for 37 years, his entire career in dentistry. He graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1974. He attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a B.S. in Biology in 1978. He started Dental School at the Medical University of South Carolina in May of 1980 and Graduated in May of 1984. Dr. Johnson moved back to Columbia with his family and has been practicing here since May 1984. Dr. Johnson is married to the former Pamela Hook, also from Columbia. He and Pam have two sons, Joel Jr. and Jeffrey. Joel Jr. works as the News Director for WPUB/WCAM Radio Staion in Lugoff, SC. Jeffrey owns a Dental Practice in Mt. Pleasant SC. Dr. Johnson is extremely proud of both of his sons.

Dr. Johnsons dental practice is a family and general dentistry practice. He also does Cosmetic Dentistry, including Implants, bleaching, porcelain laminate veneers, crowns and bridges. He is an Invisalign and Six Month Smiles Certified Dentist and will be happy to assist you with your orthodontic needs through Invisalign, Clear Correct or Six Month Smiles. He is also an Under Armour authorized provider and can make customized mouthguards for any sport.

Dr. Johnson was formerly on the Board of Directors at Prisma Health and is on the Board of Trustees at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital. He was formerly on Prisma Health Richland 'sChildrens Hospital Board. He was the Team Dentist for the University of South Carolina and has been for the past 25+ years. Dr. Johnson is active in the Academy for Sports Dentistry. Dr. Johnson has lectured throughout North America and Canada concerning Sports Dentistry. Dr. Johnson has given back to his profession by volunteering at the United Ways Childrens Dental Clinic for 37 years. He has volunteered evrey year the South Carolina Dental Association has put on their 'DAD', Dental Acess Days, where they treat as many people as they can for free for 3 days!

Dr. Johnson is a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church and has been since 1984. He plays the drums in the Praise Band for the Contemporary Service at his church. Dr. Johnson has traveled several times for mission trips associated with the Southern Baptist Convention. On each of these trips, besides sharing the Gospel, Dr. Johnson performed Dental Services daily for anyone in need.

Dr. Johnsons enthusiasm, positive attitude and love for life have allowed him to be actively involved in many aspects of his community while maintaining a successful dental practice. Dr. Johnson spent almost twenty years coaching his sons in youth baseball and basketball leagues in the Northeast Columbia community. He was blessed to be able to coach two All-Star teams that won South Carolina State Championships. Both of these All-Star teams, 13-year-old and 14-year-old teams, went on to participate and were runners-up in the Dixie Boys World Series. He also coached the 2010 B-squad and JV Summer Vikings baseball team.

Mandy grew up in Blythewood, South Carolina. She graduated from Spring Valley. She has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. Mandy is also a personal trainer and enjoys working out with her son. In her free time she enjoys yoga, weight lifting, reading and hiking with her boyfriend.

Born in Columbia, SC. raised in Columbia and Jacksonville, Florida. Gini graduated from Sandalwood high-school in Jacksonville, Fl. and has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. Married to her best friend, she has one daughter, four sons, five grandsons and one grand-daughter. Gini has two dogs, an Australian Shepperd and a Corgi. In her free time she enjoys golfing, gardening and loves to read.

Brittany was born in Florence, SC. and grew up as an only child in Hartsville. She graduated from Hartsville high-school in 2008, then went off to the University of South Carolina and graduated with a Psychology degree. After realizing her passion was in the dental field, she went back to school to Midlands Technical College and gained an Associates in Science of dental hygiene. While attending school, Brittany, was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and The National Technical Honor Society. Since graduating, she has been practicing dental hygiene for three and a half years. Brittany is married with two dog children, Bailee and Ellie, and loves spending time with her family and playing tennis.

Brooke grew up in Bethune, South Carolina, and graduated from South Pointe Christian School in Pageland, SC. She attended Midlands Technical College to pursue a career in dental hygiene and graduated in May of 2018. Brooke enjoys to travel and spend her free time with her family and friends.

Raised in Columbia, SC. then moved to Batesburg and currently living in Lexington. Ram graduated from Batesburg Leesville high-school, then attended Midlands Technical College where he earned an associates in science and became DANB certified dental assistant. Ram has been practicing dentistry for two years. He enjoys spending time with family and friends. As well as, enjoys playing and recording music and working on cars.

Raised in Batesburg-Leesville, SC. along with her older brother and twin sister. Allison is close to her family and loves spending time with them whenever possible. Happily married to her husband, Caleb for seven years, they enjoy relaxing with their dog, Rex. In her downtime she loves trying out new restaurants and local breweries. She completed her dental assisting education in 2015 at Midlands Technical College, and will continue her education there next summer to become a registered nurse. Whether it's dental or medical related, her passion and priority is providing excellentpatient care.

Born in Cola, SC and raised in Elgin. I graduated from Lugoff Elgin Highschool and went on to graduate from Midlands Tech College, as a CDA certified by DANB. I have over 20 years of dental experience in oral surgery, periodontics and general dentistry. I have two amazing children, one cat and are actively involved in my daughters pageantry and my son's travel baseball team.
