Office is closed when patient is supposed to have a appointment . No one from office can even call patient back to explain why!!

I called only to get the fax number for the office and the receptionist not only didnt want to give it to me, but she hung up on me. REALLY?! I tried to call back and she wouldnt answer. WOW! Is that the attitude in that office? Forget going there.

I had to come on here and write a review for this amazing dentist. He has changed my life, I've always been ashamed of my smile, I never smile in family pictures. My wife and daughter convinced me to go for it, so I made a consultation, I was still not sure but, after listening to Dr. Cortes, I knew I was making the right decision. Got my new teeth last week and I can't thank Dr. Cortes and his staff enough. Life changing. Have been taking pictures with family and I'm smiling.

Had the best experience with a dentist when I went to see Dr. Cortes, to be quite honest, I hate going to the dentist. But Dr. Cortes has made me change my mind, I went in for a filling removal, I had been scared but he definitely put me at ease. And I was also surprised at the speed and craftsmanship of his work. Highly recommend him for all your dental needs.

The office got me in quicker than any other specialist. I needed a root canal. Worked with me regarding cost and was very helpful.

I had a root canal done Tuesday of last week. It's now Monday. I'm still in severe pain from it. I went to the ER yesterday and they said I have a slight infection and to call the dentist and go in for a checkup. Just called. The receptionist said I probably just have some residual whatever and that it's not an infection and that my jaw bone is probably just a little weak. But to call back after I'm done taking the pain killers and antibiotics that the hospital gave me if I'm still in pain. And then she just hung up on me without another word. VERY unprofessional. Joel cortes himself is not a bad guy, but that place isnt the first place I'd recommend to anyone. Also, he gave me numerous shots to numb my mouth and I still felt just about everything he was doing. Not a good experience at all when you already have severe anxiety of going to the dentist and doctor.

My wife went to Dr Cortes because her regular dentist office was going to be closed for a week. She had 1 tooth that was giving her pain. The Dr. asked her what was wrong, then ordered a panoramic x-ray. After the x-ray the Dr. didn't come back into the room, instead the dental assistant came in. She told my wife that she needed a root canal costing $2,400. My wife said no to the root canal, and just waited till her regular dentist was open. Turns out she didn't need a root canal. Her regular dentist just filled the tooth, and my wife hasn't had any pain since. The filling only cost $187.
