Dr. Joel Shields has been setting the standards for delivering high-quality pediatric dental care since 1983. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He went on to complete his pediatric dentistry specialty training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Shields maintains memberships with such organizations as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the International College of Dentists, just to name a few. Dr. Shields is dedicated to helping his young patients achieve and maintain a beautiful, healthy smile that will last a lifetime.
