Dr. Hwang has always known he wanted to be a dentist. He was born in Inchon, Korea and went to school in the states and graduated from the University of Washington. He knows he has done a good job when a patient cant stop smiling. When Dr. Hwang is not helping beautiful smiles transform, he is enjoying a day on the golf course.
Denise is a proud Navy mom and grandmother to 4 grandchildren! She has been working with Dr. Hwang since 2000. On the weekends, she can be found puttering in her yard, playing with her cats and dog Mazie, or hanging with family. At Halloween Denise can be found with candy corn in her desk drawer, right next to her toothbrush and floss!
Natalie grew up in Brier, WA and graduated from Lake Washington Institute of Technology with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene. In her free time, Natalie spends as much time as she can outside running, swimming, hiking, and gardening. She loves attending concerts with her husband and going on road trips. She has 3 cats and and a dog.
Sarah was born and raised in Woodinville and received her Bachelors of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys arts and crafts, working out at the gym and hiking.
Alyssa grew up in the Lynwood, Wa area and graduated from PIMA Medical as an RDA. In her free time she loves spending time with friends and family enjoying barbecues, game nights, camping trips, or other outdoor activities. When she's not with friends and family you can find her relaxing at home with her dog Bruce and a good book or tv show. She also enjoys some arts and crafts whenever she can.
Miranda grew up in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from PIMA Medical Institute 4 years ago to be a RDA. In her free time, she enjoys making sweet treats for her small side business, Mir's Dipped Delights. She also enjoys listening to music, watching baseball with her Dad & going to the drive-in theatre. She hopes to apply for hygiene school next year!

I am so happy to be back with Dr, Hwang's practice! I felt so taken care for in my last visit. He and his staff are so competent and kind, that I always feel comfortable and safe there. I feel completely confident that they will advise me on the best practice for my teeth. His hygienist gave great instruction, and Dr. Hwang gave me the answers that no one else seemed to understand. He is worth the drive from West Seattle! I'm glad to be back.

Dr. is amazing. Even though I hadn't been to the dentist in years the staff and Dr made me very comfortable and I was actually able to be very honest about my oral heath. Which for me is difficult as my mom worked in dentistry over 20 yrs. I'm so happy to have meet Dr Hwang. Very personable, down to earth and understands you may have a sweet tooth or need coffee daily. It's okay to not be perfect. Huge thank you to Anne and Dr. It was truly my pleasure and thank you.

Very friendly staff, and Doctor Hwang made me feel very listened to. I've got severe dental trauma, so he was a breath of fresh air. Very good! And very good at helping you plan with your insurance! Update, as of 8/25/2022, the staff is still amazing, and they continue to be very helpful and kind. Doctor Hwang listens when I have concerns and talks with me instead of just barreling ahead. I've had a lot of dentists who just do or decide things without really listening to me, and I've never felt that way with Doctor Hwang. My dental care is taken at my own pace, and it feels like we're a team. My severe dental trauma continues to be a rough hurdle for me to deal with when taking care of my dental health, but the doctor and the staff continue to be understanding and accommodating when I communicate that I need something.

Dr. Joe and his team are exceptional. Very efficient, friendly and gentle! I would definitely recommend this practice, especially if you're not a fan of going to the dentist - they will make you feel welcome and comfortable.

As a father of 2 teenage children, I've been persistent about getting them into a dentist but often neglected seeing one myself over the years. I really appreciate the work and kind service Dr Whang and team provides. Needless to say, I'm very happy to find a kind and trusting team to help me get back on track!

I've been coming here for about 5 years now and have had a lot of different things done (fillings, crown, fixing the ragged edges of front teeth, cleanings, night guard) and have been 100% satisfied every time. Dr. Hwang really makes sure he gets it done right! Highly recommend.

Dr. Hwang and his staff are very nice, considerate and have an amazing bedside manner. Previously, I had a severe dental experience that left me very nervous, anxious and depressed about my dental health. After my visits with Dr. Hwang, I am feeling confident that I will have an amazing smile and that we will achieve this with gentleness, expertise and a solid plan.

I like my doctor, dentist office staff and new hygienist and I would not change it even I have plenty offices around.
