Jody Ames, D.D.S. has been providing quality and caring dental services for 18 years. Dr. Ames believes it is important to provide quality care for his patients at a reasonable cost. He allows the patient to play an integral part in the treatment planning process, allowing patients to be informed of their treatment options. Dr. Ames will then work with the patient to decide their best course of treatment. Dr. Ames and his staff are consistently taking continuing education courses to further their knowledge in the practice of dentistry.
Dr. Traci Williams has been serving the dental needs of the community since 1992. Born and raised in Marietta, Ohio, she completed both her undergraduate and dental school education at The Ohio State University. Upon graduation, she chose to settle in Central New York and began her practice in Liverpool. She recently moved back to Ohio to be near to her family. She is a member of the Dayton Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Traci is committed to learning and attends numerous continuing education courses every year. She is dedicated to the incorporation of new advances and the pursuit of the latest in dental technologies in order to provide our patients with the best possible dental care.
She has been involved with several charity causes focusing on providing dental health services to patients who could not afford them. She sponsors and volunteers for The Buckeye Cruise for Cancer that benefits the Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She also participates in and fundraises for Pelotonia, which is a 100 mile bike ride that has generated millions of dollars; 100% of which goes towards cancer research.
She has a blended family of five grown children with her husband, Dr. Stephen Burke, a local orthodontist. When she is not in the office, she enjoys biking, skiing, boating, reading, golfing and traveling with her family.
Each staff member is carefully selected and trained, and then continually offered further education opportunities and in-service training. As a result, each member of our team is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We feel confident you will notice the difference these outstanding individuals make! Our hygienists, Robyn, Ariana and Nicole, team up with our chairside assistants, Teres, Bridey and Dakota, to make each experience you have with Dr. Ames smooth and successful. Dr. Ames trusts you will find all of them to be personable and friendly, quality-oriented and sincerely interested in you. Our office manager, Sheila, and front desk assistant Amanda are willing to help with scheduling, insurance and any questions you may have. We offer outstanding service and care as we try to get to know you. No matter what your social or economic status is, we see everyone's importance.
Graduated from Sinclair Community College in 1984 with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She practiced in Springfield for the first several years of her career. She began working with Dr. Ames in 1998 and has been in the Xenia office for the last 13 years.
Dr. Scott Phillippi was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He was a Xenia High School graduate who continued his higher education by completing a BA in economics from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. Upon graduation from Stanford, he entered the real estate development profession, but soon decided to follow his dream to enter dental school at The Ohio State University. There he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Scott worked for a short time as an associate at a practice in Xenia. In 2010, he purchased a practice in Huber Heights. Scott was recently given the opportunity to return to Xenia and work with Dr. Ames. In his career he has thoroughly enjoyed working with, caring for and getting to know patients.
Dr. Scott 'loves to learn' and is committed to extensive post graduate courses and continuing education. This love of learning results in the ultimate goal of bringing this knowledge back to his patients. He has completed courses at the world renowned Kois Education Center and Spear Education. He has completed extensive implant training at the Ickert Training Facility and Implant Direct.
Dr. Scott has been married to his wonderful wife Tammy for over thirty years. They reside in Xenia. They have two sons Drew and Cody. They love animals and have three mastiffs Leo, Crixus and Ilaria. In his spare time Dr. Scott enjoys golf, landscaping, reading history and walking.

My wife has been a patient of Dr Ames for over 25 years she has always been able to get an appointment when ever needed .He has been a great dentist for my family. He and the staff has always been friendly and helpful .He also likes the OHIO state football .He has also been the greatest help of all during the dental implant process.The best around

I have e been with Dr. AMEMEA FOR 10 YEARS. VERY GENTLE. EVEN HAD TEETH PULLED. No pain have had a lot of work done, would highly recommend. HE No insurance will work with you, even prices up front. Even love his staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Hard to find a Dentist you like Wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank-you Dr. Ames and staff. Loyal customer

Dr. Ames and Dr. Williams are exceptional in the treatment and care of their patients. The dental hygienists, technicians and office staff are all very competent and friendly and know how to put their patients at ease. We feel fortunate to have finally found a dental office that meets our needs, is trustworthy and treats their patients like family.

I like going there, and they seems to know what they are doing, but I've needed to get some work done since March last year and I can even get an appointment till October.

I felt my previous dentist was just happy to have me as a patient as he didn't have too many. Here, Dr. Ames doesn't hesitate to tell me if there are any problems with my teeth or anything I should be doing differently. I also feel that he is more skilled at making my fillings and such. The downside to this clinic as compared to my previous is that appointments might be scheduled far out. Both have a very short wait time once you're there. I just met the female dentist today and she seems very nice and upbeat. Clinic looks clean and they use up to date dental technology. Assistants surprisingly bring up topics you had mentioned in your previous visit - I swear they take notes afterwards and review right before you arrive at the next appointment.

The staff is very friendly and professional. Ariana is the best! She takes great care of me and as an added bonus provides quality entertainment and solid life advice! Dr. Ames is ok too I guess.

I am a new patient here along with my Wife Vicky. We were searching for a new dentist as ours retired. The staff here was so very accommodating to us. I had a tooth break it was not life and death but because they were so backed up it was going to take a while to get in. They said they would put me on a call list. I really was skeptical...BUT...they followed through and got me in do to a cancelation. Now my wife and I have both been there and have found a great home with great doctors and a team of very dedicated professionals. They really did great work and they made us feel like family to them. We could not be happier. GO BUCKS!!!
