For example, our dental laser technology significantly reduces the discomfort and bleeding youll experience during specific procedures, and our intraoral cameras greatly improve our ability to communicate exactly what is happening in your mouth so that you know why weve recommended specific treatments.
Dr. Meadvins original goal was to become a veterinarian, but she ended up in the animal research/biomedical research field instead. Eventually, the work burned her out, and she worked as an assistant at her fathers practice, who was an endodontist at the time. When she was younger, shed felt certain that she would never want to work in dentistry but all of sudden, she realized that she really did enjoy it! She got accepted to her fathers alma mater from there, and the rest is history.
Dr. Meadvin achieved her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. From there, she pursued her AEGD certificate at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Today, shes passionate about pursuing continuing education when possible to keep her clinical skillset sharp. Shes a part of the Faculty Club at Spear Education and the past president of the Southern Dental Society. She is currently a member of the New Jersey Dental Association and American Dental Association.
