Dentistry is constantly evolving, thanks in no small part to the rapid pace of changing technology. At our practice, weve adopted all kinds of advanced instruments to enhance the quality of the care we provide. For example, our dental laser technology significantly reduces the discomfort and bleeding youll experience during specific procedures, and our intraoral cameras greatly improve our ability to communicate exactly what is happening in your mouth so that you know why weve recommended specific treatments.
Dr. Meadvins original goal was to become a veterinarian, but she ended up in the animal research/biomedical research field instead. Eventually, the work burned her out, and she worked as an assistant at her fathers practice, who was an endodontist at the time. When she was younger, shed felt certain that she would never want to work in dentistry but all of sudden, she realized that she really did enjoy it! She got accepted to her fathers alma mater from there, and the rest is history.
Dr. Meadvin achieved her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. From there, she pursued her AEGD certificate at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Today, shes passionate about pursuing continuing education when possible to keep her clinical skillset sharp. Shes a part of the Faculty Club at Spear Education and the past president of the Southern Dental Society. She is currently a member of the New Jersey Dental Association and American Dental Association.
In addition to a skilled and caring dentist, a dental practice also needs a dental team that can bring patients the excellent care and service they deserve while making sure they feel welcome at all times. Dr. Meadvin and her wonderful staff are top notch. Dr. Meadvin is a caring and an excellent dentist. We had an emergency situation and Dr. Meadvin got right back to me and came in with her assistant on a Saturday. I can not thank her and her staff for their kindness and quality work.

Dr. Meadvin is kind and caring. The staff is just wonderful. They make you at feel at ease and comfortable. I hadn't gone to the dentist for a long time. When I got to Dr. Meadvin's office from the front desk on I felt relaxed. The fee scale is reasonable too.

I have been going to this practice for 30 years, when it was the practice of Drs. Robert and Fred Tisot who were both wonderful Periodontal Dentist, who also did all my teeth repair. They have both retired and Dr Jodi Meadvin has since taken over the practice, and the transition has been great, with Dr Jodi Meadvin and her staff being wonderful people to work with and always manage to find time for you. Dr Jodi is very skilled at her profession and will work with you to find an affordable solution and not try to steer you to the most expensive solution. She has made many improvements since taking over the practice and I highly recommend her and the whole staff as exceptional people to work with.

I highly recommend Dr. Meadvin - I had extensive dental work (crown + multiple fillings) done by Dr. Meadvin and she did an awesome job. Sue, the dental assistant is wonderful and made sure that I was comfortable. I also had a cleaning done by Denise (hygienist), she was super gentle and did a great job. The office is modern and clean and the staff is very friendly.
