Dr. Lewis graduated with honors from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2005 and then received additional training in the specialty of pediatric dentistry by undergoing a 2-year post graduate program at Lutheran Medical Centers St. Joseph Hospital site in Providence, RI. Prior to dental school Dr. Lewis attended Texas A&M University where she received a degree in Mathematics. She is currently an attending doctor at St. Josephs and is on staff at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.
Dr. Mike was born and raised in the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York. Prior to his career in dentistry, he was a middle school science teacher in the South Bronx. He subsequently graduated from New York University College of Dentistry where he received the Bernard E. Rudner Award for Excellence. This award is given to a senior student who demonstrates superior performance in performing oral comprehensive care and administering a dental practice. Dr. Mike went on to complete an advanced education in Pediatric Dentistry at NYU Langones Providence, Rhode Island site.
Dr. Mike is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and has an interest in global dental health. He has gone on outreaches to Kathmandu, Nepal and Kingston, Jamaica where he was able to directly treat the needs of the local children as well as teach pediatric dentistry to the local dental students.
Dr. Ellen Faye Alpano specializes in pediatric and special needs dentistry. She completed her dental school training at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in 2005. After graduation, she served as a dentist with the Indian Health Service in Arizona. She then returned to her home state and completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland Dental school in 2009.
Dr. Olga Raptis grew up in Manchester, NH and was raised by her hard-working Greek immigrant parents, Mike and Elena. Olga later went on to graduate from Brandeis University with a BS in Biology. Her interest in dentistry developed during her first few summers in college where she spent her time observing in a pediatric dental office. Olga went on to earned her DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she developed a strong passion for working with children and dentistry. In her senior year, she was elected President of the Tufts Smile Squad, a non-profit student organization, where she participated in numerous community outreach programs targeting the pediatric population. She received her two-year advanced speciality degree in Pediatric Dentistry from NYU-Langone Heath - Providence, RI, where she served as Chief Resident. One interesting fact about Olga is that she is fluent in the Greek language and spends her summers visiting her family in Kastoria, Greece. When she is not practicing dentistry, Olga loves living an active lifestyle and enjoys rock climbing, hiking, running, and traveling abroad. Upon completing her pediatric residency, Olga is excited to begin serving her community and the children of Rhode Island.

The front desk's customer service at Children's Dentistry of East Greenwich is terrible. This is the MOST unaccommodating office I've ever dealt with. I am a single working mom who tried to make a noon appointment during the school season for my daughter. However, We were turned away for being 11 minutes late. The lady was rude and pointed to a sign. I have been going here for over 10 years and was unaware of this policy. Mind you that there was no one else in the waiting room. This was a waste of my day and my daughter's time out of school just to be refused service. I am so appalled by this behavior and I will not be returning here ever again.

We had a phenomenal experience with Dr Lewis for our 8-yo-daughter today. She needed a tooth pulled and we were informed of all the options and were able to avoid all but local anesthesia for the tooth. The process was seamless and our needle-shy little girl didn't notice or hurt but for a quick second. The pulled tooth was as quick and painless as could be hoped for. The staff was professional and Dr Lewis's ability to engage our daughter while keeping her smiling and doing the work that needed to be done was impressive! We will continue to request her every time and recommend her to anyone looking for a better pedi dental experience.

Dr. Lewis is the best. After a fairly serious injury my daughter sustained (her vs. house radiator) she came in after hours, and was able to not only stabilize a broken tooth but make a 10 year old kid feel calm and safe. She is an absolute saint and a wonderful dentist!

Dr. Lewis is amazing ! Our daughter has had a hard go with teeth issues and Dr.Lewis has taken great care of her since she was 3. She is 8 now and adores Dr. Lewis. Even after having to have surgery and a tooth pulled. Dr. Lewis is so kind, compassionate, caring, gentle and patient with the children and parents. . I would recommend her to everyone!!
