Dr. Joanna Kleckner has lived in northeast Ohio her whole life. After graduating from Cloverleaf High School, she pursued her bachelors degree at Case Western Reserve University in Chemistry and went on to graduate from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 2003 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. After practicing for five years with group practices in Ravenna and Jackson Twp., Ohio, she opened her own practice in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio in September 2008.

Dr. Kleckners goal is to bring all of her patients into optimal oral health and ensure that they receive the best quality dental care. She values the relationships she develops with her patients, through trust and genuine concern. She takes time with each of her patients to explain their individual dental needs and any recommended procedures and treatments. Because she cares about her patients overall health and quality of life, not just their oral health, she strives to help patients understand the oral-systemic connection, which focuses on the strong mouth-body connection. Dr. Kleckner also believes that having a functionally healthy smile is part of that optimal oral health; and therefore function, not just aesthetics, is of the utmost importance. If the teeth and Temporomandibular Joints (TMJ) are not in harmony, it can lead to pain, abnormal wear and tear on the teeth, and compromise the longevity and health of ones mouth and quality of life. Form follows function,' is one of Dr. Kleckners favorite sayings. Dr. Kleckner believes that a healthy, confident smile is ones best asset. When a person has a confident smile, it leads to greater achievement in many facets of life. Since optimal oral health contributes to optimal overall health, its a win-win for patients! When the functional and aesthetic components of ones smile are in harmony, its beautiful,' she says.

Dr. Kleckner values education and continually strives to stay up-to-date with current technologies, techniques, and procedures to provide the best comprehensive care for her patients. She is a member of the Akron Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also a graduate of the Dawson Academy, extensive post-graduate training in occlusion and Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) function and disorders. In addition to local Study Club meetings, she attends regional and national lectures and hands-on training seminars to maintain top clinical skills. Dr. Kleckner routinely completes at least 100 hours of continuing education every two years, far surpassing the Ohio State Dental Boards requirement of 40 hours. She also ensures that she and her whole team are OSHA, HIPAA, and CPR certified annually. Dr. Kleckner has been selected by her peers to be in the Top Dentists, Akron list every year since 2012.

Like everyone else, Dr. Kleckner wears many hats in life, including, but not limited to, wife and mother. She treasures her time with her husband and three children, who all keep her very busy. She also enjoys reading, walking, gardening, baking, and cooking. As a self-proclaimed cookbook junkie,' her collection of new recipes is always growing and she is always looking for opportunities to try new dishes out on her friends and family. In the warmer months, she enjoys family walks and bike rides around town and in the beautiful Metroparks, as well as picnics at Blossom with the Cleveland Orchestra. In the winter, she bundles up to hit the ski slopes and sledding hills with her family.

Dr. Lam was born and raised in Chicago and became a Buckeye when he moved to Columbus to attend Ohio State University. While there, he earned his bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences and went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2017. Dr. Lam is thrilled to be part of the team at Joanna Kleckner DDS and is very excited to provide patients with the most trustworthy and compassionate dental care possible.

Dr. Lam appreciates the value of continued education (CE) and clinical experience so he can use the latest evidence-based techniques to better help patients. He has completed well over 120 hours of CE in implant dentistry and Dawson Academys Core Curriculum. Dr. Lam strives to stay ahead of the curve with the latest dental technologies and methods so he can help his patients achieve a better quality of life.

Dr. Lam speaks to this point frequently. As dentists, we owe it to our patients to help them get the best quality dental care. Its important not only to have a comprehensive understanding of a patients orofacial condition but to get to know them on a personal level, too.

Dr. Lam wants to get to know you personally, not only to build a trusting relationship, but also so he can understand your health on a larger scale, which can better equip him to provide you with the best individual care possible. Like Dr. Kleckner, Dr. Lam believes in the link between oral health and our overall systemic health. He wants to help you create your healthiest mouth, which will improve the health of your whole body, too.

When Dr. Lam isnt caring for his patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife. They like to try new recipes and refine old ones together. Dr. Lam has recently opted to use a mortar and pestle to make sauces and curries instead of a food processor. This new method is proving successful! Dr. Lam also enjoys reading, history podcasts, practicing yoga, and traveling.

Dr. Plevris is a Buckeye fan through and through. She received her Bachelors Degree in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University in 2013, and then went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State College of Dentistry in 2017. Dr. Plevris spent four years developing and perfecting her dental skills before joining the team at Joanna Kleckner DDS with the goal of providing the highest level of dental care to all patients in mind.

Dr. Plevris is passionate about the health and well-being of each patient she has the opportunity to treat. She understands the role that oral health plays in an individuals overall health and strives to help her patients to reach their dental care goals.

Dr. Plevris knows that balance is key with everything in life. She has a huge sweet tooth and loves to bake, but only if she can taste test everything herself. She admits that she has even eaten an entire box of cookies in a single sitting!

While Dr. Plevris loves to stay busy, her favorite thing to do is spend quality time with her husband and cat. She also enjoys reading and tending to her plants. She is currently working on turning her brown thumb to a green one and enjoys seeing them grow and thrive.

Dr. Morrow retired from his dental career on January 1st, 2021. Dr. Morrow and his family are part of six generations that have lived and worked in Cuyahoga Falls and the surrounding Akron Area. Dr. Morrow grew up in the neighborhood that the office is located in and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School, Miami University of Ohio, and Case Western Reserve University Dental School. He was a member of the Akron Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. His dental volunteerism took him on trips to Mexico and the Dominican Republic as well as a local affiliation with the Faithful Servants Heath Care clinic in Tallmadge, Ohio. Dr. Lees hobbies include bicycling, fishing, golf, gardening and cooking.

Amanda has been in the dental field since 2012. She graduated from Hiram College in 2013 and Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine EFDA program in 2019. She joined Dr. Kleckners team in 2019. Amandas EFDA certification enables her to place and shape restorations for patients as part of their dental care. Her favorite part of her job is seeing the outcome in her patients she loves seeing how moved people can be and the confidence boost they get when they see their new smiles. It makes her happy when patients smile more, not only for their health but for their self-esteem.

Amanda loves her job and being with patients every day. In her free time, Amanda enjoys camping and exploring the beautiful parks in Northeast Ohio. She also enjoys spending time with her pets and riding horses.

Mallory has been in the dental field since 2014. She earned an Associates in Business and Dental Assisting from Fortis College in 2015. She joined Dr. Kleckners team in 2019. Her favorite part of her job is helping people to smile and be comfortable with their smile. She also loves having conversations with patients and getting to know them.

In her free time, Mallory enjoys spending time with her daughter and extended family, and outside activities such as walking, hiking, and fishing. When she cant get outside in the winter, she likes to binge-watch TV shows, paint old furniture and go flea market shopping. She has been in the military for nine years and got to travel to Germany for a month-long training as part of the National Guard.

Kim has been a dental assistant since high school, graduating from North High School in Akron. She has worked with Dr. Kleckner since 2008. She finds great satisfaction in helping patients overcome their dental fears and anxieties, thus experiencing better oral health. She completed her Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) training in 2012 and is certified in coronal polishing, sealant placement, dental radiography, and CPR. Kim always has a smile for her patients and enjoys making them feel very comfortable before and during treatment. Kim has also completed some extensive training courses with Dr. Kleckner in regards to TMJ dysfunction and full mouth reconstruction cases. She is passionate about helping patients overcome pain and discomfort so they may achieve their dream smiles.

In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with her family. She is very proud of her two children and three grandchildren! She is often babysitting her grandchildren on her days off, taking them to various museums and parks, and swimming whenever she can. She also enjoys spoiling her dog and cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers and Browns.

Marion started her career in dental assisting in 2015, and joined our team in 2020. She holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Assisting and a Radiology Certificate, with the goal of becoming an Expanded Function Dental Assistant in the future. In her role, Marion loves performing oral surgery procedures and making patients smile again. One of her favorite parts of her job is being able to watch the intricacies of dental treatments come together to create beautiful smiles for patients.

When not working, Marion enjoys spending time listening to music, and playing with her boys. She also enjoys watching Netflix; some of her favorite shows include Snapped, Law & Order SVU and Forensic Files. When Marion was younger, she competed as a flag girl and won a championship in North Carolina. Her dental care philosophy is Brushing and flossing twice a day will keep the dentist away!

Stephanie, an assistant with Dr. Morrow for more than 30 years, joined our team in 2020 with Dr. Morrow. She loves working as a dental team to collectively help all patients with their oral health. Stephanie especially enjoys helping patients feel comfortable during treatment, and forming relationships with them over the years. She loves working in dentistry because she believes that A smile can make all the difference in the world!

When not working, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two grown children. She also spends time outdoors working in her yard, walking, boating, sunbathing, and listening to country music. She loves attending and cheering for all Cleveland sports teams especially the Cavaliers. One of her favorite memories is when she and her daughter got to attend a Cavs game in Indianapolis, flying with the players on the team plane and staying at the team hotel! She and her daughter enjoyed this trip of a lifetime after her daughter won a sales competition for the Cavs.

Amy has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She holds an associate degree in dental hygiene from Tallahassee Community College, and she is currently working towards earning her bachelors degree from Minnesota State at Mankato. As a hygienist, she loves helping and caring for people and most importantly giving them a reason to smile. Amy believes that everyone can attain good dental health, and she focuses on giving her patients the tools and knowledge to get there.

When not working, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children, and her fur babies. She also enjoys baking, singing, playing piano, playing games and puzzles, and visiting friends and family. She and her husband got married in Munich, Germany during Oktoberfest, and Amy wore a traditional dirndl for the wedding!

Jaime is a registered dental hygienist at Joanna Kleckner DDS. With over 21 years of experience in the dental field, Jaime has an Associate Degree in Applied Science. One of Jaimes favorite parts of her job is helping patients achieve their dream smile with a tight-knit team of professionals.

In her free time, Jaime can be found baking, gardening, canning, cycling, and spending time with her son. Together, they tend to their pet chickens and turtle. Jaime has been skydiving, has met Liam Neeson while he was filming on her parents farm.

Kay joined our office in 2010 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She received her BS and Dental Hygiene degrees from West Liberty University in 1980. She is also certified to administer local anesthesia for dental treatment and is CPR certified. Kay holds memberships in the America Dental Hygiene Association, Stark Collaborative Dental Hygienist Association, and the Renaissance Dental Hygiene Study Club. Throughout her career, Kay has practiced in both general dental and periodontal specialty practices, as well as the Tiffin Health Department to provide dental screenings for children. She especially enjoys helping her patients achieve the best oral health possible through preventative cleanings and education on good home hygiene habits. Kay has more than 25 years of experience and expertise to offer and enjoys creating specialized plans for each patients care. This includes providing them with the correct hygiene aids to best care for their teeth at home. Kay is an avid flosser and would love to teach the world to floss every day!

As a treatment coordinator for Joanna Kleckner DDS, Micheles favorite part of her job is the people. She takes great pride in helping patients achieve their oral health goals and maintain a beautiful smile. She strives to build strong relationships with each new patient she meets. With 32 years in the dental industry, its no surprise that Michele is able to share her vast knowledge of oral health with the patients at Joanna Kleckner DDS.

When shes not working, Michele enjoys spending time with her daughter sharing special moments like helping to plan her wedding and helping remodel her home. Michele also likes to go fishing, hiking, kayaking, boating, swimming, running, 4-wheeling, camping, and attending concerts. She has played darts with Sandy Alomar Jr. of the Cleveland Indians and has met Tyler McLaughlin from the National Geographic TV show, Wicked Tuna.

Michelle has been working in the dental field for more than 30 years. She started her career as a dental assistant, and then discovered she enjoyed working on the business side of the dental practice. She was with Dr. Morrow for more than 30 years, and joined our team along with Dr. Morrow in 2020. She is a graduate of the Kent Roosevelt Dental Assisting program. She also holds a Dental Assisting Radiography certificate. She loves her role because she gets to form relationships with her patients, and they become like family to her. She likes to emphasize the importance of oral health to her patients, and often reminds them that taking care of your teeth is not just about your nice smile, it is best for your overall health! Michelle has extensive experience working with various types of dental insurance and will help you maximize your dental insurance benefits.

When not working, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and their adult daughters. Some of her hobbies and interests include hiking, vacationing in the mountains, cooking and baking. Michelle also enjoys cheering on the Cleveland Browns she was a member of the Browns Backers fan club for many years. She even met and got to talk to Josh Cribbs when he was playing for the Browns!

Beth joined our practice as the business manager in 2018. She graduated from the Central-Hower High School dental-assisting program in 1982 and began her career in Anchorage, Alaska. After a number of years in Alaska, she returned to Ohio and began transitioning between working chair-side to working in the front office. Beth brings with her 30+ years of experience in the dental office, including vast experience with dental insurance benefits. Beth has always enjoyed helping patients understand and realize good dental health, both as an assistant and at the front office. These days, she takes great pleasure in seeing patients complete treatment and maximize the use of their dental insurance, all while keeping the entire team running smoothly for optimal patient care.

Beth makes her home in Cuyahoga Falls and loves the community here. She enjoys spending as much time as possible with her three grown children. When not at the office, Beth likes to relax by painting and designing repurposed furniture. She has a keen eye for turning cast-off furniture and accessories into something new, beautiful and useful. Beth is also involved with local womens business organizations.

Lexie is a new patient coordinator at Joanna Kleckner, DDS, where she loves giving people the chance to feel happy and confident after leaving the office. She has worked in the dental industry since 2019, when she obtained her dental assisting degree from Wayne Community College. She now enjoys helping to teach patients the importance of oral health care and watching their happiness and smile improve as a result.

When not working, Lexie enjoys spending time with her family, friends and boyfriend Joshua, as well as playing the piano and drawing. Lexie has a pet snake named Finn, and once met the celebrity P!NK while she was on vacation.

At Joanna Kleckner DDS, children are our VIPs. In honor of our most important patients, we plan four special days every year just for children. In order to make their dental experience a fun and enjoyable event, we choose a special theme for the day and provide interactive, child-friendly activities and prizes. We also provide gentle, thorough dental care, including routine dental cleanings, x-rays, and fluoride treatments.

Our staff and our patients are encouraged to dress up for the day! Pajama Day, Winter Carnival, Sports Day, Spring Fever, Peter Pan, Fun in the Snow, Dr. Seusss The Cat in the Hat,' and Pirates and Princesses are some of our favorites. We have even had the Easter Bunny visit with us twice! We align our Kids Days with the local school schedules as much as possible so children do not have to miss class to go to the dentist. Together, we can help you set up your child up for a lifetime of good health by teaching them the importance of taking care of their teeth and body from a young age.
