Comprised of members of the LSU Health Sciences Center faculty, LSUHN is a private, not-for-profit organization and has been serving patients in outpatient clinics since 1997. LSUHN is proud to offer over 30 specialties with numerous subspecialties to meet your healthcare needs. Utilizing a state-of-the-art electronic health records system, LSUHN is able to provide better coordination of care from primary care to specialty care, as well as diagnostics.
In addition to our LSU Healthcare Network managed clinics, many of the LSU Health New Orleans medical faculty practice innovative and leading-edge medicine in hospital-based outpatient clinics through our partnerships with LCMC Health and Ochsner Health.

The LSU School of Medicine was founded in 1931 and has risen to the ranks of the regions flagship institutions for medical research and delivery of care. Prior to privatizing in 1997, the faculty group practice now known as LSUHN operated directly under the LSU state system. LSUHN is now a private, not-for-profit organization.
