I found the dentist office staff were interested in billing money on whatever could fill the office and Dr pockets with cash without looking to do right thing for Patients. I scheduled 2 cleaning and exams for my 2 family members. They reused to do a basic cleaning for both Patients and I was forced to pay for 2 cleaning anyways. They were interested in selling expensive night guard and doing implants. They could not handle the basic service of an exam finding visual cavity's. Went to another dental office and they noticed right away 3 cavities that could be seen and felt with the mental pick by eye without doing an x ray. In my opinion this office only wanted to bill for huge money making procedures. I learned any business that's in a Rich expensive area is usually double cost of other businesses in other areas. Based upon my knowledge and first hand experience. Being they choose to change me for something they would not do is why I left my review on everything. Office stated they only made one appointment for a cleaning therefore they could not do both cleaning. I stated then don't bill me for something that you're not doing. They would not even schedule the cleaning to be done at a different time. Makes no sense but they didn't care it was all abount the money for them. I also complained to dr. Rip off

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience. 10 years after they were put in following an accident I required 3 crown replacements on my upper front teeth and I found JJ Dental through Yelp. I was persuaded by Dr. John to go "tip to tip", meaning I had 3 perfectly healthy white teeth shaved down so he could crown and veneer them in order to obtain consistency with color across my 6 upper front teeth (and of course charge me considerably more for doing so). I've since learnt that this was totally unnecessary, good dentists never file down a perfectly healthy tooth and can work wonders with color matching. JJ Dental also removed a metal post that was put in while living in Africa 10 years ago to treat a minor infection in my upper front tooth, but rather than replacing it with a fiber post as I assumed it would (this has been the industry standard for front teeth for many years), it was replaced with another metal post. Nowadays dentists do not use metal posts in front teeth because they leave the patient with a faint black line across the gum and dark discoloration to the crown (remember front teeth are thinner than molars and need to be slightly translucent to achieve a realistic look). Sadly, because I've had the post forcibly removed, removing it again to replace it with a fiber post is too risky. During my crown fitting I became upset that the 4 front crowns were bulky, protruding and not realistic. His response was an ultimatum, either I go with the thick, protruding crowns or I go with normal crowns and have one darker front tooth. "You choose" he said leaning over me with an angry face and intimidating tone. I became choked up and his assistant stepped in and squeezed my hand (clearly even she was disgusted by his behavior) and he left the room while she consoled me. After a few conversations the following week I was offered a full refund for the crown materials and I found another local dentist who gave me a considerably better finish. I rarely post online reviews and I've never posted a negative review, but after receiving 50+ emails from JJ Dental over the past 18 months encouraging me to do so, I thought I would. It still bothers me that I've been left with 2 unnecessary veneers and 1 unnecessary crown that will require updating every 10-15 years. What really upsets though is that after trying multiple materials to cover this metal post, it's evident that I will have to live with a slightly discolored front tooth.

I went to JJ Dental for the first time about 5 months ago for teeth cleaning. The facility is very clean and modern. The staff is super friendly, and the cleaning was gentle and thorough. And then they have the three French bulldogs that adds the cherry on top. Highly recommended!

I had an excellent dentist which I had for 15 years. He ended up joining JJ Dental and retired a couple of years later. My transition was seamless. The office is bright and cheery and all of the office staff are friendly as well as patient oriented and competent! My dental care has been excellent

I've been with JJ dental for about 2 years now, going to Dr. Cook primarily. This place is great, both for fantastic routine cleanings, and for cosmetic work (I got 6 veneers done with Dr. Cook). Amazing staff!

I always have a great experience at JJ Dental. I come every six months for my regular cleaning and I always leave satisfied. I recently got my husband to come as well, and he got his wisdom teeth removed. We're both happy we've finally found our dental clinic to go to. The location is also very convenient because it's right around the corner from my job.

It was said leave a honest review so here is mine if you want a attentive dentist and or dentist assistant JJ dental is the place you should go from my first visit I was treated not as a patient but a part of the JJ Dental Family Paula was the best she always made me and my family feel welcome even though the front desk wasn't always pleasant then again both los olas and Lauderdale by the sea had very bad taste in their front desk manner the dental assistant and doctors made it worth the visit. If there was an office to recommend to future patients it definitely would be JJ Dental.

New to the area and I needed a dentist for a new patient exam and cleaning. Staff is friendly and helpful. Their new patient registration is super easy and online ... thanks to technology. Location is convenient, professional and clean. Dentist hygienist and Dr Cook were just what I wanted ... friendly, knowledgeable and professional while doing their job. I would not hesitate to go back ... and recommend to anyone looking for a dentist
