I've been with Dr. Qian for about 4 years. She is super professional. I've filled my teeth here once 3 years ago. I followed her instructions and I just need regular cleaning after that.

Beware of this dentist !!! She will charge you more than Delta Care allows you to pay out of pocket money. I was very insulted for lecturing me like a grade school student for half an hour on how badly I am treating my teeth. She cancelled my next appointment for inquiring why she is charging more than allowed by the Delta Care. Always call Delta Care and ask what ur out of pocket charge should be. She is out to enrich herself on ur account. She found several unnecessary repairs that my former dentist did not. Very very disappointed with this dentist. She is a shark...

First time with this dentist, after a mediocre cleaning she told me and my wife that we need fillings but she never gave us any estimate. Google her and found out we have the same experience as other patients. We cancelled our appointments and look for another dentist

Dr. Qian has been taking care of my whole family since 2016. She is very professional, responsible and kind hearted. I had really bad tooth at the beginning, and thanks to her effort, now I am able to smile confidently.

I have been going to Dr Qian for about 15 years. After having a bad experience with a prior dentist, I was happy to find her! She truly cares about her patients & makes sure you are comfortable during and after procedures.

Ok, I have to write another review for this notorious dentist who preys on her patients' trust. After my personal experience of horror: a teeth cleaning, upgraded to filling cavities, then to root canals (done at another dental office because I knew she was not trustworthy). For details, see my previous detailed review. The reason for this review is because I just came back from a party last night and was told by my friend about his $7,3000 scam by Dr. Qing. He went to visit her for teeth cleaning and was told that he needed 17 cavities filled. Well, not speaking English, he totally trusted her because she is Chinese. The 17 cavities work cost him $5000 out of pocket; then after the cavity work, one of his teeth really hurt, so he had to pay another $2,300 for a tooth canal. You know what is amazing about this? The entire process is identical as mine and as my mother-law. Sounds and feels like a routine process at Dr. Qing's office: take advantage of her patients, especially the ones who don't speak English.

Dr. Qian has been my dentist for 10 years. She is very trustworthy and highly skilled. I had multiple root canal and crowns done in her office with great results and I am very happy about it. The cost is lower than my previous dentist's for similar operations.

Dr. Qian has been my Dentist and my family's since 2008. She is one of the most experienced and well known Dentists in the Bay Area. Not only is she kind and professional, she will always have her patient's best interest in mind especially when recommending a course of treatment. She will always listen to your concerns and is never condescending or dismissive. If the dental issue requires a cosmetic specialist, she will refer you to one that is also experienced and not push you away. Most importantly, if you experience unexpceted pain after a visit, she will schedule an immediate follow up to take care of it at no charge. 5/5 for Dr. Jin-Jing Qian and her amazing staff in Foster City, CA!

Jing Jing Qian is a great dentist, she was nice enough to take last minute appointments when I needed multiple fillings and cleanings. She speaks Mandarin, and her front desk staff is also very nice and friendly.

Have been going here for years and haven't had any issues with my teeth. I've had several fillings to protect sensitive spots. When I was living elsewhere, I visited another dentist and they had a really hard time finding the fillings because they were so well-matched to my actual teeth. Only good experiences here!

Dr. Qian has been my dentist for ten years now. She is sweet and competent - she listens to my concerns and does excellent work. She repaired a chipped incisor and it was done perfectly - and not expensive either. Highly recommended

Do NOT go to this Dentist!! Jing Jing Qian lacks professional expertise and is unethical and dishonest. HORIBBLE experience! My NIGHTMARE started through her "treatment"- I developed severe pain (note, I had no pain before I went to see her), which totally destroyed my daily work life, vacations, future travel plans, and the peace of mind. Scroll to the bottom for key takeaways. One of my tooth had a root canal, and the treatment was fine. The "issue" was that the bottom of my tooth started to darken, so it was not that pretty. She spent time exaggerating how bad looking it was and deemed that some treatment was needed and she could do bridge. Her original remark was "Oh you are a pretty girl, except your such bad looking tooth!". I was deceived by her over-confidence and went for the second time for treatment. She drilled into my tooth and worked for a while, and suddenly stopped and said she realized that tooth was way more complicated than she originally thought, and said this tooth could not be saved and suggested extraction. I was so shocked, and immediately told her NO! She refused to take responsibility for the mess, she said: "oh you never know until you drill into the tooth and really start to work on it". This is the funniest thing I ever heard from a dentist. She took so many X-rays and was confident, and persuaded me into her procedures, and now she said she did not know what she was doing until she drilled the tooth? What is worse, after her procedure, I started to develop severe pain and fever. So she had to prescribe a bunch of antibiotics for me. Given the situation, I asked her what my tooth changed from her procedure, so that I developed pain. She LIED in front of my face saying "nothing changed, I filled the tooth already, it was like before". However, my subsequent two X-rays with different doctors cleared showed not - my situation is worsened - after Qian's procedures, the tooth became hollow, empty, fragile, and the empty spaces left my tooth vulnerable for pressure changes and bacteria. She merely put a cotton ball into my tooth. This is NOT acceptable and not in line with normal standard of care. In summary, Dr. Qian's procedures caused me tremendous damage: 1. Severe pain, fever, and further harm to my body (I need to take anti-biotics and more X-rays for further examination). 2. Disruption of work and life: Dr. Qian did not warn me any potential issues with her treatment My overall comments: 1.She lacks expertise - she promised me one thing and delivered a bad result. She is incapable and cannot be trusted. 2.She is dishonest. (a) She persuaded me into unnecessary procedures that directly caused me pain (b) after she made a mess, she lied in front of my face saying she put the tooth back to its previous condition, while X-ray comparison clearly showed not. 3. Dr. Qian refused to take responsibility and attempted to CONCEAL her fault, saying the ultimate cause of my pain is because I had a bad tooth to begin with. I was shocked to hear this from a doctor. So, with Qian's logic, she always wins - if she treats you well she will get the credit, if she messes up, she will accuse you for having issues/problems to begin with (which are the very reasons we seek doctors' opinion/treatment). 3.After she made a mess, she did not proactively refer me to a specialist. Usually when an ordinary reasonably prudent general dentist could not fix a problem, he/she would refer to specialists rather than rush to extraction, which is non-reversal. But Qian referred me only AFTER my request. I am not sure Qian's reluctance is because she wants to make money all herself or she did not want me to receive better treatment. I regret not reading the more than 10 one-star bad reviews on Yelp about her before I go, her bad reviews generally uncover that she is bad doctor, unethical, and dishonest, which I totally agree.

Doctor Qian is very nice and knowledgeable. Starting now I'll be coming here for future dental needs. Highly recommend to anyone! Great service and great results!
