Dr. Jim Peyton graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1982. While maintaining a private practice in Bakersfield, CA he was a a part-time clinical instructor at UCLA School of Dentistry for 25 years. Dr. Peyton is a lecturer at Esthetic Professionals Education Center (Tarzana, CA) and a part-time clinical instructor at the Fahl Institute in Curitiba, Brazil. He has published several articles for Practical Procedures and Aesthetic Dentistry and The Journal of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). Click the magazine covers below to see his articles. Dr. Peyton is a fellow, an accredited member, and examiner for the AACD. He is also a contributing editor for the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Heather is a Registered Dental Assistant and has experience assisting chairside, in the front office and teaching dental assisting. When first visiting Bakersfield she saw Dr. Peyton tooth sign and was determined to be apart of his office. Starting in 2008, Heather worked for Dr. Peyton for a year and then took time off to enjoy her newborn children and returned to work in 2012. We have found she is best suited coordinating the front office for us.
Originally from Riverside, CA Heather was brought to Bakersfield by her husband's job. They have enjoyed starting their family in this welcoming community. While not at the office, Heather is busy participating in her children's school. She has served as a board member of the co-op preschool and elementary school parent club.
