Hands down the worst experience I've ever had. Dr. Hale probably should have retired about 10 years ago. He didn't explain anything to me. I went in to have one tooth removed, he took 3. They literally had me signing paperwork after administering anesthesia , I even told the desk lady that this didn't feel right. The 2nd took clearly didn't need to come out as it requires extensive drilling, hammering and wrenching in it. I tried telling the dentist that the local had worn off( something I had warned him about initially). I literally was choking, coughing, and subsequently crying as he broke my took apart bit by bit. They rushed me out of the office, mouth still actively bleeding, I ended up having to go to urgent care because of the bleeding. This guy if a butcher and his staff isn't much better for allowing this to have happened.

Dr. Hales has been my dentist since 2014. He is the only dentist that makes the "Snap On Smile" which are slip on teeth. From the very first meeting I found Dr. Hales to be totally honest and detailed oriented. So I got the "SnapOns" and am still happy with them going on the 6th year. Dr. Hales is a true Gentleman and Christian. He is also a gental dentist, filled with compassion and heart. I also have an genetic disorder that 1 out of 20 doctors of any kind even know about. Dr. Hales does. And he took all the precautions necessary to keep me healthy and dentally happy. Since I drive from North Medford to Grants Pass, and am now 71yrs old, I did look for someone closer. The one fellow i went to advertises with a coupon supposedly covering all expenses, but in reality covers less than half. So here I am back at Dr. Hales' and so happy to be there again. He gave me a second opinion regarding the two cavities Dr. L said i had and determined I was fine. I have one of the cleanest mouths, and healthiest gums because of Dr. Hales. Floss, Floss, Floss. I DO. He also has a Senior Discount. This is a great relaxing office. He does treat everyone as family. And I am beyond happy to be a member. The only alternatives to "Snap On Smile" is to go through the Denture Process, which is painful, costlly, and takes months for the process. You have to have all your teeth pulled, the jaw bone has to heal, then you can get fitted for dentures. The alternative is Implants. These are such a scam. (imo) Everyone lists them in the six hundred dollar range, but you are not finished until you spend an additional $600 for the tooth that attaches to it. Anyway, contrary to advertising, completed implants run around $1500 EACH. I have several friends that have had horrible experiences. So, I went to Dr. Hales for the "Snap on Smile". I had lost most of my back teeth, and one right in front. I became embarassed to smile. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Hales, and his dental team. And the Snap on Smile. Strangers even compliment my smile.

The dentist did not tell me what he was doing, made me feel very uncomfortable. I got two numbing shots that didn't numb my lips or gums but numbed the side of my FACE. I told him I wasn't comfortable getting work done if I could still feel it and he was very rude about it so I just left.

A wonderfully caring doctor. I had a very enjoyable experience and look forward to going back for further treatment. I could not have been more comfortable.
