Do not go here!!! "Dr." Deleon does not like to answer questions about about his practice. He deliberately sought to hurt me in the chair while giving me a cleaning because I questioned his methods. A very little man, with a precious ego. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely wonderful! Dental assistants are professional and fun and quirky. they make me feel very welcome. I don't like going to the dentist but I welcome these visits. The Dentists are super knowledgeable and make you feel like you are their friends. They make you feel so comfortable. When I leave, I feel like I've had a makeover with my teeth. They feel so clean and healthy. I highly recommend this practice.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to the 1 star rating below, because it describes the precise experience of my entire family of four at this office. These people are Medi-Cal frauds. They claimed my two sons and husband had 10 cavities each, even though they had all been consistently treated by a private-insurance family dentist regularly just prior to switching to Sunglao. Most of also "required" deep root planing. They drilled tiny circular holes into the sides of their healthy teeth, for no given reason, and I'm now concerned that was an attempt to create further dental issues and thus more work. It finally became clear they were 100% frauds when, from one appointment to the next, I mysteriously developed the magic number of TEN CAVITIES where I had had none before. When I questioned her, the dentist became extremely flustered and angry and could not provide an answer or show me anything on xrays. She finally said that they Weren't cavities but would BECOME cavities. I declined the work and she became extremely insistent that I at least have one done that was "worse than the rest". I don't know why I agreed, but I did, restarting emphatically that it was to be JUST THAT ONE. Once numb I felt her begin to drill a second tooth as well...being captive on my back with a drill in my mouth, I was unable to get up or protest. Which of course she was counting on. It's clear to me that she had the intention of making a certain dollar amount on me that day and when I declined ten fillings, she was going to at least get as much as she could. Additionally, TWO of my sons fillings that were very recently performed by them (on what were, we have now learned, HEALTHY teeth) have CRACKED AND FAILED causing him to need removal and two full crowns. Their diagnosis is fake and their work is fake too. I absolutely despise these people for what they've done to my sons' dental health and trust in the dental field. STAY. AWAY.

I would reccomend both dentists for any dental work. They are very gentle and caring in every way. My dentures are fantastic, fit like a glove and look beautiful!

This Dentist is being reported to the Denti-Cal program and the Dept. of Consumer affairs for fraud and criminal practice as of April 2018. I was new to Denti-Cal having lost my insurance 2 years prior and went in for x rays and an exam March 27. I was told I needed 9 fillings and a deep periodontal cleaning due to gum disease. I was told 5 of my amalgam fillings needed replacement and that I had 4 new cavities. The dentist was unable to show me on the x rays where the cavities were and when I asked why the amalgam fillings needed replacement I was told there must be bacteria growing under them. I also asked how she knew I had gum disease when she had not used a probe to measure gum pocket depth and she replied that she could tell from the x rays. I left and went to my family dentist, paid out of pocket for a complete exam, including cancer screening and full gum inspection using a probe. I have no evidence of gum disease, and there are no cavities in my teeth, and the fillings are fine. This dentist is lying to patients about their condition and then submitting fraudulent claims to Denti-Cal for reimbursement. It's also interesting to note that the one other review here, the 5 star, was posted by the dentist in the same office.

I was in need of major dental work, and decided to give the offices of Dr. Sunglao & DeLeon a visit. Since my initial examination, I have been there multiple times, completing a total of 6 fillings and 2 crowns, within the span of a month. Each of my visits had minimal to no wait time! Your appointment here matches exactly to your scheduled time, which is almost unheard of nowadays. This is the way it should be! Especially for busy college students like myself. In addition to the punctuality, Both Jessamine and Nelson are professional and passionate about the work they do, and in genuinely helping their patients, no matter what the circumstances are. Personally, I have visited several offices in the past , where that was not the case ( I won't name them...). This was especially true for the fair prices of their services and their willingness in helping you find affordable payment plans and options to help those going through difficult times. I highly recommend Dr. Sunglao and DeLeon for all your dental needs, as you can be sure to receive the quality and affordability every patient deserves!

Doctor Jessamine T. Sunglao, and Doctor Nelson R. Deleon, have performed many dental procedures from crowns to cavities since becoming a patient of theirs. I had not been to the dentist in a while partly because I have a Sonicare toothbrush. The last three times I went to the dentist I did not have a single cavity. Dr. Sunglao pointed out that the flossing spears that I was using was not getting in between my teeth and gums. Which revealed that if had many cavities form using these plastic picks. Everything has gone to plan thus far. There hasn't been a single problem. Every time I enter the office I am greeted with a warm welcome. The very first thing they asked me is how the prior work is feeling in my mouth. I'm to happy to say that I have never had to really wait that long for my appointment. They are really good at scheduling appointments. I also receive a text message to let me know when my upcoming appointments are scheduled as a added reminder. The office staff has a good sense as to how long each procedures will take. There equipment is state-of-the-art especially the x-ray machine which is has some of the best High-Res photos I have ever seen. The crowns that I've received are zirconium. For those who don't know zirconium is the hardest know ceramic in the industry and the strongest material used in dentistry. Overall I'm very happy with the work that has been performed by both dentists. I would recommend both doctors to my friends and family. And to anyone looking for a new dentist. I don't normally give five star reviews however they have gone way above and beyond my expectations. Once the work is complete if something doesn't feel right they are happy to make adjustments they have very high standards. Yet another reason why I feel they deserve five stars.

Dr DeLeon and Dr Sunglao are the best dentist I have ever dealt with. I went in to try and get a cap re-glued and Dr DeLeon took the time to show me why I needed a new crown and worked around my schedule to get it done. I have now had extensive work done there and they did a fantastic job, felt little to no pain and the crowns fit perfectly. They have a customer for life
