After a negative encounter with an uncaring dentist when Dr. Suh was a young man, he knew that there had to be a way to offer patients far better experiences. That encounter led him to decide on a career as a dentist. For his education, he traveled to America from his native Korea.
He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1997 with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine and the following year, completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.
Now, to provide the very best care for his patients, Dr. Suh continually advances his education. He has been certified in performing many advanced dental procedures such as dental implants, bone grafts, Invisalign orthodontics and treatment of TMJ (temporomandibular joint) and nighttime breathing problems.
Dr. Suh loves to contribute his expertise to those who lack access to good dental care. After his first mission trip to Sierra Leone in 1997, he followed it with many more international trips to donate his services to underserved populations.
With his team at the Dental Spa, Dr. Suh creates a comfortable, friendly and aesthetic environment to give patients five-star experiences every time. Come learn why his patients describe him as pleasant, kind, patient and skillful.
Dr. Thomas Moon, a New Jersey native, completed his undergraduate studies in Economics from Tufts University in Massachusetts. He pursued and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University as well. Dr. Moon expanded and improved his clinical skills completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Lutheran Medical Center.
Dr. Moon strives to provide quality dentistry in all phases of general dentistry including pediatric, restorative, cosmetic, endodontic and prosthetic dentistry. He is committed in furthering his education by participating in continuing education courses and annual dental conferences. Dr. Moon is a member of the New Jersey and American Dental Association.
Dr. Moon is personable and creates an enjoyable environment for his patients and staff. He makes sure his patients are comfortable and gives them the utmost attention they deserve. It is common to see him laughing and joking around with his staff and patients.

I've been here a few times since moving from out of state. I was apprehensive at first because I missed my previous dentist, but this practice is great! So far I feel they don't con you into any unnecessary dental work, and they have always been very gentle with my sensitive teeth. The folks working at the front desk, and on your teeth, are very friendly. A++ practice. Even a basic cleaning feels like a deep cleaning!

I have been to a handful of dentists in the Jersey City area and this is hands down the best dentist I've been to. Jersey City Dental Spa is very hospitable, efficient, and truly cares about its patients. I've had cleanings, cavity fillings, and invisalign done here and all done very well. Looking forward to being a patient for years to come!

Update: June 2021- I've been coming for about a year now and it is still the best dental experience I've had so far! The office staff is awesome and very proactive. Magali has been great with helping me squeeze in when I had some dental pain on my molars, calling to remind when I have an upcoming appointment, and figuring out my insurance coverage. Andreina makes me feel welcome every time I come for a dental cleaning and has been helping me identify where I need to brush and floss more. Can't say enough about the doc too! Overall Jersey City Dental Spa is my recommendation for any dental work in the JC area. ----- Dr. Cho met with me the same day (as a new patient) that I called in about my old filling falling out and was very accommodating in making sure that I knew exactly what was happening along the way. Great service and very effective staff that got me in the chair and X-rayed as soon as I arrived. He helped me see what Invisalign could do for my smile with a cool 3D model at my request but didn't upsell me or make me feel pressured. Andreina cleaned my teeth after my filling and was great in making sure that I knew where I need to focus to clean my teeth daily. Fantastic people all around and glad I came.

Front Desk: The people running the front desk are very rude and have attitudes. I scheduled an appointment for my son and cancelled it 24hrs before the appointment because he had final exams. I was told when I cancelled the appointment, that there is a $75.00 fee for appointments cancelled after 48hrs. I explained that I was unaware of their policy. No one explained this to me when I scheduled the appointment. She cancelled the fee and scheduled a new appointment. 3 days later I get a text that my son's appointment is cancelled because I did not confirm. I called the office and the person I spoke to was very rude and confirmed that his appointment was indeed cancelled. This is nonsense since his appointment is next week and I just schedule the appointment 3 days ago.

I had selected the dental package that included 2 yearly dental check ups & 2 cleanings. I was extremely satisfied after my initial dental check up and the initial cleaning. However, when I returned for the 2nd set of check ups and cleaning, the technican did an excellent job with the cleaning and left me satisfied. However, when the doctor came in for the dental check up, I felt he was a little unprofessional by the way he spoke, as I was unable to implement the recommendations from the initial visit. Due to some commitments I was unable to do the neeful, however I had visited another dentistry location in between who had advised me my condition was not that bad. I feel the doctor needs to be a little more polite and not judge the patient if the recommendations were not followed. The doctors job is to offer the consultation and not integorate the patient. It did not make me feel comfortable and I will not be returning here.

I visited JC Dental spa for my crown replacement and the team was very helpful and guided me well throughout the procedure. Dr Moon did an amazing job with rebuilding my core and fixing a new crown. Highly recommend.

Amazing korean dentists and kind nurse! I was afraid to go to dentist before, but not any more after going to Dental spa. I am glad to find a dentist that I can trust to go. Everyone there is very kind and helpful and doctors are kind and very skilled.

We were new to the area and we're worried about finding a good dentist. Wow! We are so impressed with the level of expertise and professionalism from the staff. Cleanings are the best here! So far I've had a crown done and currently a bridge in progress. Appointments are always about an hour and efficient. The dentists make everything painless. I'm home able to eat in comfort. I highly recommend this place. They accept our insurance Delta Dental. They require a deposit or full payment for larger procedures. However, discounts are possible if paid at the time of quoting.

I had a cleaning appointment with Andreina, who was so sweet, knowledgeable and friendly during my visit. I felt extremely comfortable and was well taken care of. They have this video machine that takes pictures to create a 3D image replica of your teeth which I found so cool and also really helpful when reviewing with the dentist because I had a visual and could see exactly what he was referring too. Looking forward to my next appointment!

Firstly, I RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND, and RECOMMEND here! My wife and I both went here about 1 year ago. I had three times root canal and two times cleaning. And my wife did Invisalign and cleaning. We all have GREAT experience here. The staffs are nice at the front desk. Every time we call for making appointment, they are very quick and friendly. The doctors and assistants are professional, helpful, and warm. The treatments we had are successful. Also, this place has very convenient location. Trust me, this is the best place for your teeth health. Finally, keep health!!!
