Our practice has been in Mars, PA since 1991 with a satellite office that was opened in Penn Twp in 1995. Dr. Tackett is a 1979 graduate of Knoch High School and holds a bachelor degree in biology from Dickinson College. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he graduated valedictorian of in 1989. After receiving his doctorate he completed a two year general practice residency at Penn before returning home to open his office. He and his wife Phyllis have three sons; Joshua, Benjamin, and Samuel. When not practicing Dentistry he can usually be found at one of his sons sporting events.

Dr. Tackett is awesome. Great person in addition to a true master of his profession. I've been a customer for I think 20 years or more! I saw he has one star review from someone named "Mech Guy". "Mech Guy" is an absolute jagg off. Jerry is an honest, trustworthy, family man I have know for a very long time. Dr. Tackett is a five star and would be a six star if it was possible. Great people and a wonderful place to do business.

Very poor service. Made excuses not to do my minor work after a double-booked patient showed up and needed more expensive work done. Told me not to worry about my issues, they'd be fine for a few months... But still happily billed my insurance for the visit! Find a different dentist in the area, there are many.
