Dr. Zobel, an Upstate New York native is proud to carry on the legacy of one of Ithacas oldest and most well established dental practices. The practice has been privately owned and ran in Ithaca since the 1940s.

Dr. Zobel brings a wealth of experience with him after spending several years as the Clinical Dental Director of a Health Center in Maine. In addition to a patient-focused and hard working team, the outstanding patient base is what has made this practice what it is today and Dr. Zobel is honored to be surrounded by such a high caliber of patients and staff.

Dr. Zobel earned his Dental degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine; he is trained and experienced in many facets of dentistry, including Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Zobel specifically specializes in full mouth rehabilitation and placement of dental implants to replace single teeth, multiple teeth, or implant supported dentures.

After attaining his Bachelor of Science from Fordham University in New York City, Dr. Zobel attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he furthered his education prior to dental school. Graduating Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Zobel also proudly served as the president of his class and volunteered his time helping the underserved in rural communities across the east coast.

Jana has been working as one of our experienced dental hygienists in our practice since 2011. She brings with her the ability to clean teeth while telling you a story or two. When Jana isnt in the office you can find her teaching a spinning class or running because she loves chocolate or chauffeuring one of her 3 children around Ithaca. Jana is a dedicated professional who will gently yet thoroughly provide your dental cleaning, counsel you about nutrition, oral hygiene and the role that dental fluoride plays in a healthy dentition.

Lorrie moved to Ithaca in 1971 with her parents and 4 siblings, and says that becoming a Hygienist is one of the best decisions shes ever made. Lorrie has been practicing as a Hygienist for 35 years 25 of those years in our office. Lorrie is married with 2 sons and in her spare time she enjoys running and biking.

Heidi joined Dr. Zobel in 2021, yet started as a Patient Coordinator in 2017. Her goal is to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for patients and assisting them with any questions they may have. She came to Ithaca from her native New Jersey in 2010 and considers the Finger Lakes her home. When not at work, she is either hanging out with her cats, out on the trails or lake, or working on some fiber craft.

Kristen has been with Dr. Zobel since May of 2017 but has been a dental assistant for the last 16 years. She resides in Groton with her husband and2 children Dylan and Kadynand theirdog and cat.She enjoys playing golf, working outand most of allspending time with herfamily and friends.
