Dr. Bates opened his practice in Woodinville with the vision of treating the whole family's dental needs. After graduating from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, he served as a dentist in the Navy for two years. He returned to Woodinville with his wife, Carol, and knew this was the community where they wanted to raise their family.
Dr. Bates has become a symbol of quality dentistry in the Woodinville community having served family dental needs for many years. He is listed as Top-Rated Dentist in Puget Sound Consumer's Checkbook in 2008, 2012 and 2015. He is one of America's Best Dentist and Top Dentist in Woodinville with International Association of Dentists.
Dentistry continues to change with the new advancements in technology, and Dr. Bates is tenacious about seeking out the best available products and techniques for his patients. Oh my..... I am so sorry to all of my wonderful patients..... I feel I was deceitful and lied..... I hate transitions of dental offices and will never go through this hellacious experience again. The truth is, the goal was to sell the practice. While we all had high hopes, no one really knew for sure, but now I know that no one will ever fill Dr Bates' dental shoes. He was the best dentist to deliver excellent dentistry in the most affordable way possible. I have moved on and will truly miss you. Keep up your homecare. We were a team, and I wish you well. If you are looking for a great local dentist in Woodinville go to Dr. Bates Office -- you won't regret it! I called today for an emergency appointment and the friendly office staff was able to get me in within the hour. I had such a great experience during my visit that I will be using this dental office moving forward for all my routine cleanings!

As a new patient to this practice (but not new to dentists) I found them friendly, courteous, concerned about doing the right thing for each patient, and very open and honest about what needs to happen or be done. I recommend checking them out

I'm no fan of the dentist, but my experiences at Dr. Bates are always great. Office team, hygienist, and Dr. Bates are all awesome. Everyone needs to go to the dentist, so if you have to go, why not go to someone you like who treats you like family?

I've been going to Dr. Bates for over a decade now. The staff has very low turnover, and it's a small local business that's both very professional and very friendly. I take my kids there and now my husband goes there, too.

Very pleasant staff. On time. Where other dentists told me I needed thousands of dollars of procedures, Dr Bates said my teeth were fine. A few years later all is still well.
