Jensen Family Dentistry has been Spring Hill, Florida's hometown dentist for more than 30 years. Foundedby Dr. David R. Dr. Eric was raised in Spring Hill and is a graduate of Springstead High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Central Florida and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida. While attending UF, Dr. Eric earned multiple awards for ethics and clinical excellence. He is grateful for the opportunity to practicedentistry in his hometownand makea difference in the community he grew up in. Dr. Eric is committed to staying current on new trends, techniques and technologies in dentistry. He is an active member of the Hernando County Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
In his spare time, Dr. Eric enjoys taking weekend excursions with his wife, children, rescue dog and other family members. He also likes running, cycling, camping and fishingand is a lifelong fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

We have lived in Spring Hill for eleven years and after searching around and trying a few corporate dentists for a couple of those years went to Jensens and have found them outstanding. Excellent friendly staff and quality service with none of the overzealous up -selling of some practices. Staff are professional and knowledgeable. Would recommend highly.

Dr. Eric and all of his staff are very kind and caring people. Always make sure I am comfortable, and Dr. Eric is both gentle and precise. I always feel that I am in good hands.

There aren't many people I would call selfless or kind but EVERYONE at this office seems to exhibit those character traits. From the receptionist to the assistant to the dentist himself everyone is so kind and more importantly they do great work. I will never go to another dental office as long as they are able to perform what I need here. I feel very comfortable coming here and have had nothing short of a great experience every visit.

Dr. Jensen and his staff are always so friendly and go above and beyond to make their patients feel at ease. I love how both Dr. Jensen and the hygienists explain what they are doing during exams and cleanings. They also check frequently to make sure patients are pain free throughout. Dr. Jensen is also super attentive and compassionate and has made himself available more than once provide our family with advice and even offered services after hours. He is just an all around great Dr. And an even better human being! Our family highly recommends Dr. Jensen and the whole team at Jensen Family Dentistry.

I hadnt been to the DDS in 3 years. I had a tooth break off at the gum line right before the onset of Covid. So everything got put on hold. Then I went to a DDS who had me so scared to death of bleeding to death due to my high blood pressure, he sent me to an oral surgeon. The staff at this oral surgeons office actually scolded me beyond normal for simply having a few sips of coffee ( to take my morning meds) before procedure that I walked out!,,, so now I had to get my nerve up to get this taken care of. I decided to go to JENSEN FAMILY DENTISTRY. I am sooooo glad I did. I had 3 appointments in about 8 days. 3 fillings, a cleaning, and my extraction. I HIGHLY recommend this dentist office for any of your needs. From the receptionist, to the dental assistant, the hygienist , and my new FAVORITE DENTIST, Dr. Eric Jensen, They have a calming atmosphere, are genuinely friendly, professional, and made all my visits PERFECT. Never felt pain or discomfort. I really can't say enough about this office. You must give them a try. You won't be sorry!!

I recently had a crown done by Dr. Jensen and everything went extremely well. Having a procedure like that is not always a pleasant thing but Dr. Jensen put me at ease every step of the process. He explained step by step what he was doing/going to do as it was happening and was always checking with me about my comfort or discomfort level. His assistant Lori was amazing and as Dr. Jensen, they both displayed much caring and patience with me. All the staff there including Tina at Reception were friendly and amicable and truly interested in me as a person not just another 'account payable'. I truly appreciated their honesty in not trying to up-sell me more than I needed as I have experienced that with other Dentists before. Had a bad experience with another Dentist - sold procedures you didn't really need - nervous with the Dentist you are presently seeing, I recommend Dr. Jensen without hesitation as he is now my GO TO dentist for check-up's, cleanings and any other work I may need.

It was a late Friday night and I was in desperate need of a dentist. I had an abscess and my face was in pain, swollen, and my anxiety was through the roof. .Dr. Jensen was recommended to me by a friend as a GREAT and Compassionate dentist. Dr. Jensen called me and guided me to help ease my pain until he saw me on Monday. But let me say he offered to see me on Sat. Given my anxiety I chose Monday and said let's wait until the meds took some swelling and pain away. Also, He called/text me to see if I received my meds since it was close to closing time at the pharmacy. He reached out to me on Saturday to check if any of my swelling and pain had subsided. WOW At 7AM Monday morning I was greeted at the door and walked in his office. Every staff member I walked past were pleasant and said Good morning. Dr. Jensen introduced himself, asked me how I was doing and explained what his plan of action would be. He did not do anything unless I understood everything, had any questions, and if I was okay if we proceeded today. He and his staff waited patiently and calmly talked me through each step as my anxiety was getting the best of me. Both Dr. Jensen and his staff explained post extraction to me. Then asked if I had any more questions and if I did please don't hesitate to call the office if during hours. After hours please call the Dr. on his cell. WOW The next day, around 4:30, I received a call from Dr. Jensen, not his staff but him to see how I was doing. WOW I am recommending Dr. Jensen to everyone. Dr. Jensen and his staff are a class act!!! They have your best interest in mind. I still have my anxiety but thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this an extremely calm and caring experience. See you in June.

Today was our, (husband and I) first new patient visit with Dr. Eric Jensen. The office is immaculate with far above the standard-of-care for safety of patients and staff. Modern digital x-ray technique greatly reduced radiation exposure. The hygienists are professional, friendly and thorough. Dr. Jensen is also friendly, considerate and thorough in the comprehensive exam we received. He is conservative and wise in his advice for dental treatment. The entire staff make you feel extremely welcomed. So happy to find our forever dentist!

I switched my family to Jensens as my dentist was bought out by a corporate and I didn't like how it was going there. The Dr. has a measured calm approach and it didn't feel like he was rushing between patients on a conveyor belt. I like the Covid safety protocols which were still in place in May. I feel a lot of places have relaxed with this too early, so I was reassured. The cleaning was the best. The hygienist was knowledgable but no lectures, and very clean and gentle. I do not normally enjoy having my teeth cleaned as i end up covered in water and it's usually all very uncomfortable, but not this time I'm pleased to say.

First off, I do not normally write reviews, and this is true. But I will take the time to say that Jensen Family is the best by far or any dentist in the area. That said, I drove 58 miles from Palm Harbor to their office on a same day call in for an appointment. People, ...... they are the BEST team ever. I will say it was my wife who said do not go anywhere else but Jensen's. I will say right now that GO NOWWHERE ELSE BUT JENSEN'S. Professional, affordable, safety protocol above board, and the staff are the consummate epitome of care. Eric, after years of schooling, and trained at the being a professional by the best dentist on the east coast , his dad. If you want the best , It is Jenson's Family Dentistry. Chris
