Dr. Jennifer Stachel is a dental specialist who has completed an advance post-doctoral course, accredited by the American Dental Association, of at least two academic years in the specialty of orthodontics. She was practicing on Long Island for five years before the purchase of her practice in July of 2012.
Dr. Stachel received her bachelors degree in molecular biology from Washington and Jefferson College. She earned her DMD and her certification in orthodontics from Temple University School of Dentistry where she earned the American Association of Public Health Dentistrys Pre-doctoral Community Dentistry Award.
Dr. Stachel is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association. In her spare time, Dr. Stachel enjoys playing tennis, playing golf, riding horses, going to the theatre, and listening to music. Most recently, she joined the Make-A-Wish foundation.

The entire staff is welcoming, courteous; professional.Dr. Stachel herself explained the rather complicated procedures required for treatment clearly and in great detail. It was a relief to know so much of what needed to happen and how each step of the procedure would be sequenced. My son's subsequent visits have only served to reinforce my already great satisfaction and esteem for all aspects of patient care. Throughout the pandemic, the office continued to support my son and protocols were clear and practical. As he nears the end of his treatment, I can only reiterate my praise and appreciation of the entire staff.

My last visit was great and I'm almost done! Just a few more liners to go. It's been a long process, which is understandable as my case was a complicated one. Doctor Jen has been so patient through the process and her work has a finesse that I doubt I'd find elsewhere. Her competency towards her craft clearly shows. She also has a dream team behind her which is extremely professional and each individual in the office has such a warm personality. Love these ladies! And something that others might miss, but it hasn't gone unnoticed by me is that the premises are always spotless and inviting. Overall, choosing Dr. Statchel for my orthodontics purposes has been the best decision!

Dr. Stachel and her staff are great! Super friendly and professional, every single time I come for an appointment. The office has a really good energy and Dr Stachel always makes sure to answer all of my questions and goes above and beyond. Had a consultation with Dr. Stachel yesterday - she and her office staff are wonderful. They took me promptly for scans/X-rays, and then Dr. Stachel spent almost an hour with me one-on-one to discuss my case and my concerns. The technology she uses made it easy to visualize the effects of treatment (3D scans of my teeth that could be manipulated to simulate treatment). And I very much appreciated how flexible she was regarding payment and financing options. I look forward to working with her.

I know that most people don't have positive things to say about going to a dentist office but not the Martinez's family. Going to this office is like visiting old friends and feeling the kind of happiness one gets from good conversations and reciprocating smiles. I guess it also best to mention the professionalism of all the staff. I can't tell you how much We appreciate a place that puts there cards on the table and not play guessing games.. I know it can be a little off putting when that kind of truthful approach is applied but honesty is the best policy and I am comforted knowing that's what am getting. I also want to place a THANK YOU in this review to all that workers in the office least we forget that they are working in the frontlines and are one of the most exposed to the dangers of this pandemic . Note: I'd recently posted this same review on Yelp, but Yelp has moved it to the "not recommended reviews" section along with Dr. Stachel's many other 5 star reviews. I'm not sure why Yelp does that, but wanted to share my review here as well for anyone looking for a fantastic orthodontist. ***** I can't recommend Dr. Jenn and her team enough. I'd put off orthodontics for years after multiple less-than-encouraging consultations with other orthodontists in the city. But from my first consultation appointment with Dr. Jenn and Stephanie, I knew I would be in good hands. The two of them spent a long time talking with me about the best treatment options for my unique case, and they worked hard to customize my care in a way that would work best for me. This was very refreshing compared to other orthodontists who had only offered me a "one size fits all" approach. Their empathy and care only increased during the COVID-19 pandemic, when they rescheduled appointments as needed, implemented virtual progress check-ins, and mailed my aligners to me when I was unable to see them in person. They've implemented a number of safety measures in their already clean and comfortable office, putting my mind at ease during my most recent in-person appointment. Dr. Jenn shows genuine care for her patients and their well-being, and she and her team have always been willing to work with me to ensure my unique needs have been met. Though I have more time left in treatment, I'm so far thrilled with my progress and look forward to the end result. If you're looking for a caring, empathetic, and effective orthodontist and support staff look no further than Dr. Stachel's office!

Dr Jen and her staff are extremely competent, conscientious and efficient. I have been a patient since 2018, and I have to say my experience has always been A+++. This is my second experience with Invisalign and I have to say - the level of attention and customization that Dr. Jen provides IN ADDITION to the general program is unprecedented. She really does look at each individual patient separately and designs a custom program for each patient. This is important as I do not believe that most orthodontists do this as part of the program and the cost. This review will particularly focus on post-COVID - as I think it is important for people to recognize the level of care and attention that Dr. Jen and her staff have given to ensuring the safety of her patients. The entire office is always spotless and aesthetically pleasing, but more importantly there are high grade HEPA air purifiers, nice hand sanitizers, and clear instructions as to what to expect when one books an appointment. Her staff (special shout out to Stephanie, the total BOSS of an office manager!) is extremely careful and clear about needing to call once you arrive, filling out the COVID questionnaire, and the protocols they follow to keep everyone safe once you are in the office. This is a trying time for everyone, and I really want folks to know that they have done everything possible to ensure an orthodontic appointment is safe, effective, and reliable in these times. I trust Dr. Jen and her staff completely and I would recommend her/them to any one who is looking for an excellent orthodontist.

I have just completed my invisalign treatment with dr stachel and I am THRILLED! my bottom teeth had always been close, but as I aged they became overly crowded and were becoming more and more crooked. I asked my dentist for help, his office does invisalign, and he said I should absolutely go to see dr stachel... that she is the BEST. the entire process went seamlessly. the office is EXTREMELY organized and professional. the schedule is respected and followed by all. staff is polite, friendly and helpful. you always know what is expected of you and what needs to be done. equipment is extraordinary! dr stachel is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. she corrected my smile without removing any teeth, by following her well designed plan. she takes no shortcuts. your treatment is not complete until your teeth meet her very high standards. I do believe that her equipment and determination for excellence set her apart from other orthodontists. you can feel comfortable signing on with dr stachel. you will receive the best care possible in a well-run, professional office.
