After graduating from Florida State University with a Bachelor degree in Biological Science, Dr. Jennifer Holt attended the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Holt was privileged to be awarded her doctorate degree in a ceremony at Carnegie Hall in 1999. Following graduation from NYUCD, she completed a one-year general dentistry residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. Dr. Holt returned to Central Florida in 2000 to practice dentistry in the area closest to her family.
Dr. Holts philosophy is to provide gentle dental care in friendly atmosphere. She believes her patients deserve quality dental treatment. Therefore, she places an emphasis on requiring her team and herself to attend the highest quality continuing dental education courses. She has attended courses at some of the most prestigious programs in the dental community such as the Dawson Center, the Kois Center, and the Hornbrook Group.
She is married to her husband, David, and they have a beautiful daughter, Sydney. They enjoy golfing, traveling, and attending sporting eventsespecially Florida State football and the Orlando Magic games!

Absolutely horrific experience at this place. My regular dentist had retired and I was looking for a new one. My favorite hygienist had come to work for Dr Holt, so I followed her to this office. Dr Holt completely disparaged my previous dentist of 30 years and told me I needed to have wisdom teeth out even though I'm almost 60. My previous dentist was never worried about wisdom teeth they didn't bother me. And she took x-rays told me I had pus pockets and I would need an oral surgeon. I did not need an oral surgeon I just needed a cleaning and yes I have gum recession. She was a miserable person to speak to and seem to enjoy putting down my very well respected previous dentist.

Love Dr. Holt, Nicole and the rest of her staff. Started going to her when I moved to Umatilla 5 years ago. They all are very caring and love the honesty...it is refreshing compared to other dentist I've been to. She won't say you need something you don't just to make money like others do. Now I've moved to Ocala and will drive the hour because I won't find anyone else as good as her.

Dr Holt is an excellent dentist! Been with her since she started in Umatilla with Dr Hayes. I kept her even when, as a teacher in the county, I had the option of dental insurance as a benefit but Dr Holt wasn't in the plan. Teeth are too important to the entire body's health to leave them to chance. The wind beneath her wings is Nicole-what a treasure! If I was a powerful politician I would make Nicole an ambassador for the US in a trouble spot. She knows to keep her cool and be helpful, really specifically offer help, in all situations. If you are not happy with your dentist, don't stay just to avoid a change! My brother left for a bit, lured by cheaper prices, but now he is back with Dr Holt. You know what happens if you stop changing the oil in your car, right? Getting your teeth cleaned is just as important a maintenance for your overall health!

Was a patient of Dr Holt back when her practice was in Umatilla. She and her staff were friendly and personable and always had my best interests in mind. I moved north back to the Midwest and always miss having my dental needs taken care of by Holt Dentistry.
