Dr. Koch is originally from the Pocono area in Pennsylvania, and graduated summa cum laude from Lehigh University in 2002 with a BS in Biology. During college, Dr. Koch earned her Pennsylvania state x-ray certification and worked as a dental assistant, as well as a summer intern at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She earned her DMD with highest honors from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2006. While at Temple, she was a member of the Oral Surgery Honor Society, as well as the Stomatognathic Honor Society. Dr. Koch was one of a small group of students in her class to be inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Koch and her husband, both Lehigh University graduates, decided to return to Bethlehem after their time in Philadelphia. After completing a one-year general practice residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, and practicing dentistry for five years in the Pocono and Lehigh Valley areas, Dr. Koch acquired the practice of Dr. Peter T. Davis in August of 2012.
Dr. Koch is an active member of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Medical Staff, and also is an attending dentist for the hospitals dental residency program. For eleven years, she provided dental care to children on the Miles of Smiles mobile dental clinic. A member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Lehigh Valley Dental Society, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society, Dr. Koch also earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2013. In 2020, Dr. Koch became a Certified HealthyStart Provider, helping children improve achieve straighter teeth without braces and address symptoms of sleep disordered breathing.
Dr. Koch regularly attends courses held by Lehigh Valley Health Networks Continuing Dental Education Program, as well as various other courses throughout the country. Over the years, she has volunteered her time with various outreach organizations most recently the MOM-n-PA dental clinic, which provides free services in a different city each year in Pennsylvania.
I enjoy having the opportunity to spend time with my patients and explain their different treatment options. I love being a general dentist since it allows me to take part in all of the different specialties that dentistry has to offer. I love nothing more than to treat patients who used to be afraid of going to the dentist but arent anymore because they feel comfortable seeing me.
Jeannie earned her Associate of Science with a concentration in Dental Hygiene from Quinsigammond Community College in Worcester,MA. She then achieved her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University. Her passion for dentistry began as a teenager when she attended a technical high school and chose dental assisting as her area of study. She has worked in both fields for a combined total of 35 years. As a Dental Hygienist, Jeannie provides oral hygiene education and treatments for our patients including cleanings, non-surgical periodontal therapies, application of fluoride, and taking radiographs.
Ashley graduated from the Lehigh Valley School of Dental Assisting program in November of 2016, and joined our team shortly after. Being able to interact with our patients on a daily basis is what she enjoys most about being a dental assistant.
BobbiJo has worked in the dental field for over twentyyears; she has spent halfof them at this office. A Bangor High School graduate, BobbiJo went on to attend the medical assisting program at Allentown Business School. She taught dental assisting for over four years, and enjoys working with patients and having the opportunity to meet and interact with new people.

Dr. Koch and her terrific staff have helped me address a decades long fear of dentists, been excellent in pain management, flexible with billing, and patient with my sometimes exceedingly slow response to actually DO what they keep telling me to do. (This is the year I'll floss, I PROMISE. :-) ) The staff is both friendly and professional. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dr. Koch and her team are super great, friendly, and kind. Small office but it was always a pleasure going to get treated. Bobbie Jo is amazing at the front and everyone else makes you feel welcomed. If you need a dentist, this is it. Super sad I moved and had a change in insurance. I would go back if I could.

Dr. Koch and her team are super great, friendly, and kind. Small office but it was always a pleasure going to get treated. Bobbie Jo is amazing at the front and everyone else makes you feel welcomed. If you need a dentist, this is it. Super sad I moved and had a change in insurance. I would go back if I could.

Great experience. Modern office. Very helpful staff. Dr. Koch was professional and took her time to answer my questions. She also specializes in pediatric dentistry. The kids loved her and she made their first visits to the dentist easy. Our oldest had a cavity filled and it was a breeze.

What a professional office! The office staff was very efficient, including a phone call before my visit. The decor, recently updated, created a warm, welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. I didn't have to wait- very refreshing! My hygienist was polite, professional, and did a good job. Dr. Koch provided a thorough exam.
