Shannon is a Portland native and Del Mar College graduate. She graduated from Del Mar College in 2010 with a degree in Dental Hygiene; she has been a hygienist for Dr. Jennifer since 2011. Shannon strives to find new ways to help patients improve their oral health.
Shannon and her husband Jason have two children, Reid and Sawyer; as well as, two dogs. Shannon volunteers for her children's sports teams and works with the Children's Council at her church. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, running, and cooking.
Alexandria began her career with us in 2017, and has been making a positive impact with our patients ever since by focusing on improving her patients oral health while maintaining a comfortable environment.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Alexandria has called South Texas home for over 6 years now. When not at work, she and her husband, Colby, enjoy traveling and going to the beach. They also have two cats Marley and Milo.
With 21 years of dental experience and knowledge, Kerri was welcomed to our office in 2017. She can help to provide you with answers for any questions you may have to help with any of your treatment needs.
Mariana has been a registered dental assistant for 10 years with experience in Cosmetic, Orthodontic, and General Dentistry. She has been working for Dr. Jennifer for six years and enjoys helping patients with their dental needs.
Dr. Jennifer has been a resident of Portland her whole life. After graduating from dental school in 1990 she returned home and joined her father, Dr. R. E. Sterns III dental practice. Throughout her (almost) 30 years of practice, Dr. Jennifer has focused on furthering her education and has added traditional orthodontics, one day crowns, as well as Invisalign to her practice. She has always stayed on top of technology, offering only the best for her patients.
Dr. Jennifer has raised three beautiful children, a son, Shea and two daughters, Jordyn and Andi. Shea and Jordyn are both college graduates and Andi is looking forward to her high school graduation and following in her mother's footsteps at Sam Houston State in the fall.
