Damon T. Jenkins DMD, MPHgraduated from Hampton University with a degree in molecular biology after which he attended the dental program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. After obtaining his Doctoratein Medical Dentistry (DMD) he furthered his dental education and attended two general practice residencies Lutheran medical center in Brooklyn, NY and LSU Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA. He enjoyed his year in Louisiana. And, with his desire to pursue more dental education he started at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where he obtained his specialty degree inProsthodontics. Dr. Jenkinsis not only a General Dentist.He is aProsthodontist, a specialist in implant restorations, crowns, bridges, veneers, partial dentures, full dentures, and everything prosthetic. Dr. Jenkinsalso obtained a masters degree in public health (MPH)from LSU. In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Jenkins was a part-time clinical instructor at the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine until Decmber 2012. He currently teaches as a volunteer. Dr. Jenkins was also an Army Reservist.He has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps and was promoted to Major in the Army Reserves.Dr. Jenkinsspends his free time with his wife and two children. He loves traveling, books, cars, dogs, art and music.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Sharixza graduated in 1994 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a certified and registered dental assistant. After working as a dental assistant for several years she continued her studies in science. Sharixza went on to obtain her Associates in Science and Dental Hygiene from the University of Bridgeport, Fones School of Dental Hygiene in Bridgeport, CT, she graduated in 2000.
She has been in the dental field for over 24 years, and is bilingual in spanish and is CPR certified. She is now the Chief Financial Officer at Jenkins Dental at Bynes Falls.Sharixza lives in Glastonbury with her Husband Dr. Jenkins and their two children Xavier and Sariah.
Ashlee has been with our practice since 2017 when she took over billing and insurance. She had previously worked in a specialty practice for several years with Esther before being lured away to join the Jenkins Dental Team. She has loved working here since the first day she stepped through the door and saw the spectacular view. She couldnt ask for a more calm working environment. It also helps working with great staff, good friends and an awesome doctor. The front desk is constantly in stitches over each others stories and they love sharing it with patients. Theres nothing better than seeing a patient leave with a smile. That is one of Ashlees favorite things about dentistry; witnessing patient transformations and seeing them gain confidence in their smile.
Ashlee grew up a few towns over in Vernon. After graduating in 2005, she studied Fine Arts. Ashlee enjoys painting, drawing and crafting. Also, anyone will tell you she loves to dance! She enjoys spending time with close and extended family, including her beautiful daughter Veda.
Esther grew up in Simsbury, CT. She has been in dentistry since 1982. Esther has worked in all aspects of dentistry and really has a passion for her patients. She loves meeting them for their first visit then watching their smiles transform; in the process becoming extended family. She has always enjoyed working with patients and helping them. She feels very blessed to be working with such a truly dedicated, smart, caring doctor.
Esther has been married to her best friend for twenty-seven years. She is so very proud of her three awesome sons whom she loves to spend time with. Her hobbies include combing the beach for sea glass with her husband, making jewelry, traveling, dancing, laughter and is most grateful for her faith in God.
Ginette has lived in Coventry since she was five years old. She graduated from Coventry High in 1975 and graduated from Windham Tech in 1976 as a Certified Dental Assistant. She worked as an assistant for five years. In 1983 she graduated from Springfield Tech Community College with an associates in Science and degree in Dental Hygiene. She became certified in local anesthesia in 2012.
She has been happily married for thirty-four years and is also the proud mom of two wonderful adult children, whom are both married. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with family and friends. She also enjoys sewing, gardening and taking long walks.
Ginette has been blessed with working at Bynes Falls for thirty years. She works in one of the most beautiful settings you could ask for with only a six minute commute. She has always enjoyed working with people one on one; helping them achieve optimum dental health.
Kim graduated from Tunxis Community College in 2005 with a certification in Dental Assisting. Since graduating, she has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of specialties including endodontics, periodontics, pediatrics, oral surgery and prosthodontics.
For the past ten years, she has worked with Dr. Jenkins at Bynes Falls as a Lead Dental Assistant. Kim is very dedicated in making sure the office runs smooth and efficient. The most satisfaction she gets from her work is seeing how happy our patients are after their treatment. Seeing them with their big smiles is uplifting and motivating.
Kim is very close with her family. She especially enjoys spending time with her five nephews and two nieces. She has two adorable dogs that she spoils rotten. She loves to watch all kinds of movies, but her favorites are long drama series.
Jessica has been a member of the Jenkins Dental team since 2015 with experience in the dental field since 2014. As a lab technician she specializes in digital dentistry and 3D printing. Prior to dental Jessica had a career in hairdressing. But, is ultimately very happy she made the switch. She is excited to have the opportunity to work and grow with Dr. Jenkins as we evolve in the expanding world of digital technology. She finds that working closely with patients throughout their journey is extremely rewarding. Jessica is a Coventry native, graduating from Coventry High in 2008. You can find her spending free time outdoors either gardening, on the boat, or traveling with her husband and black lab Sage.
Sarah has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2014. Sarah studied Dental Assisting at Kaplan College in El Paso, TX. Sarah has always had a passion for helping people feel beautiful and giving people the confidence to show off their smile. She takes pride in what she does and it shows in her performance at work. She aspires to go back to school for Dental Hygiene in the future to further her education in the dental field. In her spare time she enjoys all outdoor activities with her daughter, Nova and her poodle-terrier named Tank.

Excellent first experience. The office staff was very accommodating. The dental staff was friendly, conscientious, and thorough. Dr. Jenkins was great. This was the most thorough exam I have had in years, if ever. In addition to his inspection, he used the X-rays and photos of my teeth to show me the work that needed to be done. I have confidence that this team will effectively care for my teeth for years to come. I definitely recommend.

It was my first visit with Dr. Jenkins. I loved everything about the office. The waterfall view, the very friendly staff, and particularly, Dr. Jenkins. He is very personable, caring, competent and he did not make me feel rushed because he had to go to take care of another patient. I am definitely going to be a patient of his.

I have been going to Jenkins Dental ever since Dr. Jenkins took over the business from Dr. Bynes. I have to admit I was a little reluctant at first. I had been seeing Dr. Bynes for so long. The first thing I noticed was the updated equipment. Dr. Jenkins obviously spent a lot of money bringing us into the 21st century with top-of-the-line modern diagnostic and procedure equipment. The vast knowledge of him and his staff was very apparent right from the start. I was eventually diagnosed with throat and neck cancer. I had a team of 12 doctors from UConn Health in Farmington taking care of me. With the intense Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy came a whole new set of parameters for my dental health. When I started to discuss these new parameters with Dr. Jenkins, he was already well informed as to what he had to pay attention to. I can not even express in words how comfortable Dr. Jenkins and his entire staff make me feel every time I am there. My teeth would not sparkle the way they do without Ginette Gagnon fine tunning my brushing and flossing skills every time I see her. I've never in my life had a more glowing experience at any health institution. Upon arrival at Jenkins, you're greeted by a beautiful waterscape with a roaring waterfall. The actual office is full of windows which gathers wondrous amounts of natural sunlight. I'm usually a bit uneasy in dental offices but the staff members at Jenkins Dental, truly calmed me. They are of the upmost professionalism and care. I appreciate them for making sure that I was comfortable. This is an amazing dental office and I'm happy that I've found a place that I know I can go to for the foreseeable future. If you are on the fence about making an appointment, I hope this review convinces you that there isn't a better place to bring your teeth! Thank you again Esther, Ginette and Dr. Jenkins! I went to Jenkins Dental back in 2013 or 2015. Dr. Jenkins and his facility are top notch and state of the art. He is the one that informed me I was grinding my teeth and didn't even know it. Since then I have been fitted for a mouth guard. Unfortunately I live way on the eastern side of the state so I had to find someone closer. I would never hesitate to go back if I had no other options.

Every visit is more like a spa day than a trip to the dentist. Friendly, professional staff & a serene atmosphere. The office overlooks a waterfall & is filled with natural, soft light. Absolutely recommend!!
