Dr. Cross has several passions in providing dental and medical care for his patients. He belongs to the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and had his office accredited to provide sleep medicine care by the AADSM and provided sleep disturbed breathing relief to many patients. His quest for knowledge contributed to him achieving Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and to be a graduate of the prestigious and world renowned Pankey Institute of higher Dental Education.
Dr. Cross has been married to his wife, Batia, for 38 years, and enjoys the pleasures of his three adult children. Ariel has followed his footsteps and is a dentist in Florida. Jason has also relocated to Florida as a consequence of Covid. Kyle is following his dream in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Levine takes a holistic approach to his life and brings that same understanding to the dental practice. He is invested in his patients overall well-being and you will often find him conversing with his patients about health, nutrition, and fitness related issues that go beyond dentistry. Proper dental care is a great way to improve ones self-esteemthere is great value in a healthy, beautiful smile.
After graduating with B.S. from the State University of New York at Albany with a B.S. in May 1980, Dr. Levine continued at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, receiving his D.D.S. in June 1984. He completed a Dental Residency at Prince Georges Community Hospital in Cheverly, Maryland in June 1985 and made Maryland his home. Dr. Levine has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry privately in Maryland since 1985, primarily in German town.
Additionally, Dr. Levine has completed over 3500 hours of continuing education, including the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, The Institute for Advanced Studies in Dental Esthetics, and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education.

Excellent staff and service. Dr. Levine and the dental hygienist were very thorough and friendly. They have a preventative approach and are ETHICAL. I really appreciated how he showed me my x-rays and explained everything. I did my own research too since I've had experiences with dentists in the past causing unnecessary dental work and $$ spent. Everything he said was completely accurate and I can tell he genuinely cares about looking out for his patients. Thank you Dr. Levine!

This is my first visit, and I am very impressed with all the staff who cared for me. Dr. Levine saw me and explained clearly what his recommendations were and calmed my fears about further work from another office. Michelle is an awesome hygienist, Deanna is professional and Suzanne kept me informed about appointments and coverage via text message. Job well done all around.

Office was clean and timely. Staff was friendly. I felt both listened to and taken care of by Dr. Levine, Marlene, and the third staff member whose name I don't remember. Miles above the last dentist in Frederick I saw! I have no worries about continuing my dental care here.

Always a pleasant experience at a Dr Cross' office visit. Staff area great and professional and very friendly. Don't ever have to wait an unreasonable amount of time waiting. Would recommend to anyone.

This practice is the embodiment of medical professionalism. The support staff does its best to fit you into their schedule while accommodating your needs. Dr. Cross is a gentle and friendly dentist with an excellent manner. He seems to have a good rapport with his support staff and that's something the patient will see firsthand.

I love Dr cross as a dentist but if you have jaw issues I highly recommend seeing a specialist in that area. I suffered needlessly for a long time with no solutions from Dr. Cross but as soon as I went to a TMJ specialist I finally began improving. I was having horrible jaw pain and my jaw constantly cracks and pops in and out of place. After X-rays with the specialist it turns out I have arthritis in my jaw along with the bones becoming misshapen. Dr. Cross did not catch that and was not treating my issues properly. I don't understand why he didn't refer me to a specialist, I went out on my own to find one because I was in such horrible pain. But in general dentistry I think he's great.

Dr. Cross is the best dentist. He ensures the patient is comfortable and explains everything. My 12 year old had to have a root canal and he was able to fit her in within 24 hours. My child was nervous but he was able to calm her and explained he doesn't want to hurt her at all and if she felt anything to let him know. Thank you for your compassion. Your staff is amazing. I appreciate, that the office staff offers payment plans. Thank you.
