Ive been practicing orthodontics for more than25 years. I enjoy working with my hands and serving others. Im particularly pleased with the people Ive met and cared for, and the friendships that have developed. Learning about a patient as a person, hearing about their day, adventures, and successes, and seeing them gain confidence, is very fulfilling. I cannot imagine a more wonderful profession!

Each year I attend several national and state orthodontic meetings, where I complete continuing education courses. I also participate in local dental and orthodontic meeting and study clubs. Oral healthcare, especially orthodontics, is constantly changing. Advances in techniques, materials, and technology, mean more and better options for my patients. By staying current on these developments, I remain proficient in the latest scientifically proven care options.

I havealso been a clinical assistant professor in the department of orthodontics at the University of Texas School of Dentistry for more thanten years. I enjoy teaching residents the intricacies of orthodontics.

I was born and raised in FortWorth. I went to high school in New Braunfels, to whichI returned toworkas a general dentist for eight years before becoming an orthodontist. Clear Lake has been home to my family and me for over 25 years.

My life is shared with my wifeJulie, our son Steve and his wife Maggie, and our daughter Christy and her husband Trey. We have been blessed with threewonderful grandchildren. When Im not working, Im with my family. If I can combine that with time in the outdoors, Im especially blessed!

Dr. Sean Pawelek understands that orthodontic treatment is a life-changing experience. His passion is to give you the smile you deserve while fostering a connection and building a relationship that will make you feel like family.

Although Dr. Pawelek has completed the rigorous certification process that requires each doctor to complete challenging written and clinical examinations during residency, he places an emphasis and commitment to continue to learn and excel through continuing education courses in order to provide lifelong, quality patient care.

While in dental school in Houston, Dr. Pawelek was fortunate to meet his wife Stephanie, a native of Clear Lake City and a graduate of Clear Lake High School. They enjoy all things outdoors including skiing (on water and snow), hiking, working out, attending sporting events, and hunting. They also enjoy long walks with their golden-doodle, Theodore, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Heidi has been working in the dental field since 2003. Her favorite part of orthodontics is watching the transformation of our patients from start to finish and how much they LOVE their results!

Heidi is married to her husband Jason of25 years and together they share four beautiful daughters and now goes by the name of Gigi thanks to her newsweet grand daughter! In her spare time she enjoys the beach, gardening, cooking with her family and is very active in their church.
