I began my career with a Northern Arizona not-for-profit organization advocating for Developmentally Disabled adults. After realizing my clients lack of dental education and oral health instruction, as well as a general lack of access to care, I wanted to provide them with instruction in basic oral hygiene and daily life skills. Soon after I began, my clients began calling me Dentist Jeff and I quickly realized my true calling.
My background combined with my life experiences and training, have allowed me to become an empathetic and understanding health care provider with a passion for compassionate pain-free dental care. I understand the feelings and challenges that my patients face and can relate to their concerns, phobias, anxieties, and fears, which allows me to help many patients that would otherwise avoid visiting their dentist. Together, through listening, discussions, and education, I partner with my patients in a co-discovery process to achieve the highest level of individual dental health.
When were not at the office, my amazing wife Ashley and I spend our time trying to keep up with the light of our lives, son Jaiden, and three pups Nala, Nika, and Stella. We also enjoy watching movies, playing the guitar, golfing, bowling, and listening to music.

Our mission is to consistently provide a safe, comfortable and efficient dental experience with empathy and compassion for every patient at every visit.
I am an Arizona native with over 20 years of experience in the dental field. I started my dental career as a dental assistant then moved to the front office where I now do insurance eligibility. The best part of my job is helping patients obtain great dental care while improving their smile. I have two daughters and three stepsons along with two golden retriever pups. I enjoy road trips with my husband Britt, spending time with my family, going to the gym, hiking and taking walks.
I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I have been a dental assistant since 2020. I graduated from The American Institute of Dental Assisting. I am currently continuing my education at Mesa Community college with my Associates degree in General Business. I love being able to interact & work with patients on their dental care and oral hygiene. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my son Julian and my fianc Anthony.
I am a native of Arizona and have strong ties to the Hispanic culture in our beautiful metropolitan area. I have experience with both treatment and schedule coordinator, and feel compelled to help our patients understand the connection between dental health and our overall systemic health. As our patient coordinator, my main goal is to bring to our patients, a sense of well-being and relaxation while assuring that their visit flows effortlessly. I understand that our patients have many options when choosing what dental office, and I will work tirelessly to make you feel at home with us. I believe in giving back to the community and enjoy volunteer work with Feed My Starving Children and Produce On Wheels. I am very family oriented, have two dogs and spend my free time engaged in several outdoor activities, including running and hiking.

My experience was excellent! I was in and out, I was there to remove my tooth gems and I did not expect such a great down to earth interaction with the Dr. He was friendly and ensured I was satisfied. No matter how many times I stated there was glue left behind he did not get frustrated but instead ensured that the polish was complete removed from my teeth. I'll def be coming back for other work to be done! Beautiful office as well.

Haven't been to a dentist in a while so walking in I was a little nervous. Immediately felt welcomed by amazing and friendly staff and doctors. Highly recommend this place because good service by great people is a gem these days thank you guys! I will be back and not only because I have to! 10/10, 5 stars, 2 thumbs up! They even let me pick a show to watch while I waite!

My wife had been to Dr. Jeff and recommended that I go to him to get a consultation on my wisdom teeth. A previous dentist at a different facility told me that I could have these teeth extracted at my own risk of nerve damage and was willing to do the extraction, whereas Dr. Jeff recommended I see an oral surgeon and was not willing to do the extraction as he felt this needed to be done in a certain way to ensure my health and nerves would be protected. Because of Jeff, I probably narrowly avoided having permanent nerve damage in my face and did not care more about my money than my well-being. There is no other dentist I trust more than him and I have only spoken to him for a minute. The staff members were also over the top amazing, every one of them. Polite and professional.

I appreciate having a same day appointment for dental emergency tooth extractions. Dr. Schmelter continued to make sure that I felt comfortable during the procedure and made sure that I did not feel any discomfort. I would highly recommend them!

I just recently got a lot of work done on my mouth, plus wisdom teeth extractions, and as someone who has had a bad case of dental anxiety/phobia I can honestly say My Time Dental with Dr.Schmelter and his team is the only place I would recommend going to. He's awesome and his staff is very kind as well.

I found Jeffrey and his awesome team on zocdoc. I do have a lot of dental anxiety and let some problems I should have taken care of earlier slack because of this. Needless to say I did the twilight surgery with him and it all went flawless. I felt nothing and was in and out in no time. I had my fair share of bad dentist experiences in the past and this one made up for all the bad ones I had. I highly recommend Jeffrey and his more than friendly staff. The ladies are all sweet and helpful and willing to help out with any questions I had. Thank you!

I have been scared of the dentist for years! This has cause my teeth to run into some bad issues. The amazing people at this office have made this a truly better experience. They help with financing and create a non judgmental welcoming environment. I know I have a long road ahead when it comes to dental health but I'm glad I have this office to go to to get it done.
