Dr. Kearney was born in Goldsboro, NC. He graduated from UNC- Chapel Hill in 1988 with a degree in Chemistry. He continued on to dental school at UNC and graduated in 1992. Dr. Kearney is happily married and the proud father of three sons. He prides himself on continuing his education. He has accumulated hundreds of hours of continuing education to hone his current skills as well as staying abreast of the very latest advances in dentistry. Dr. Kearney has studied extensively in the areas of TMJ and sleep breathing disorders. Along with Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry. He has earned fellowship status from The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, as well as The American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, for his work in the fields of TMJ disorders. Dr. Kearney has been practicing in Cary since his graduation in 1992. He employs a staff of supportive team members who work closely together to achieve a common goal of patient education and treatment excellence.
Stephanie and Amy are our dental hygienists. Amy began working with us in 2006. Amy graduated from Wake Tech Community College in 2005. Amy enjoys the challenges of periodontal cleanings and working with patients to optimize their oral health. Stephanie joined our team in 2016. Stephanie graduated from Wake Tech Community College in 2012. She enjoys deep cleanings and working with patients to improve the overall health of their mouths. Amy and Stephanie value education. They make it a priority to stay up to date and informed and attend several hours of continuing education each year allowing them to put into practice the latest techniques in dental hygiene.

Dr. Kearney and his staff are amazing! Great experience from the time you walk in until you leave. Very gentle and empathetic. I had to have a tooth extracted and a bone graft in preparation for a dental implant. Dr. Kearney kept me informed during the entire process and made me feel very comfortable. He was genuinely concerned about how I was fairing throughout the procedure. I'm so thankful for my friends' recommendations to see Dr. Kearney.

Dr. Kearney, is this best dentist I know. I've been going to him over 20yrs and he nor his staff has ever disappointed me. They always make sure the patient is great. I love them!!!

This is possibly the best dentist in the Triangle in my opinion. Every time that I have had an Emergency dental situation they have gone above and beyond the call of duty!!! Highly recommended!

Stephanie is a very good dental Hygienist she always puts you at ease. Dr. Kearney is helpful at explaining issues and this is important. I have been a patient here for a long time . The office is in a convenient area.

Great experience. Very professional and very nice. Best experience I've had visiting a dentist office. Lisa was dental assistant and she was great, gentle and pleasant. Very sweet, and knowledgeable at her job. Dr. Kearney is a very nice, and kind and an experienced doctor who cares about you. I recommend this dentist office for all your dental needs. Dr. Kearney is the nicest, most patient doctor I've ever been to. He was patient, gentle, committed, and empathetic to my situation. I felt listened to and respected, and left with a good understanding of my condition. I would wholeheartedly recommend seeing Dr. Kearney for your TMJ issues.

Dr. Kearney is very caring and gentle. He has a great bedside manner and he answers all your questions and explains everything in detail. His work is meticulous and thorough. His dental assistants Lisa and Nicole are super nice and extremely knowledgeable. The hygienists Stephanie and Amy are not only great but also kind. Karrie in the front office is fantastic and is always very helpful! I would highly recommend this dental office for anyone who likes a family feel atmosphere with the bonus of professionalism and quality dental care!

Excellent dentist! Dr. Kearney provides detailed explanation to patients of procedures and results, and has the, 'Golden Injection Touch'! I hate dental shots, particularly those in the front!! Dr. Kearney makes them almost painless; pressure is felt rather than pain. His hygienic staff is excellent with periodic cleaning and is always attentive and courteous! I highly recommend his Practice!

I had my initial TMD consultation with Dr. Kearney today and was so impressed. First of all, the office seems to work very efficiently with very little wait time. But more importantly, my time with Dr. Kearney was exceptional. He spent the entire 1.5 hour appointment with me actually ended up 2 hours with my questions), which I was not expecting based on experiences at other doctors and dentists. He is a great listener and took in all the information I gave to him. He was also highly receptive and encouraging of alternative treatments I have done and would like to do in conjunction with TMD treatment with him. He was gentle and kind during the thorough evaluation of what's causing my TMD, and he spent a great amount of time explaining TMJ and the mechanisms that cause issues there. He also answered every single question I had thoroughly, and I never felt rushed or like I couldn't ask more questions. I'm 33 but have seen many doctors, dentists, and other practitioners in my life due to a chronic illness, and he really stood out above and beyond anything else I've experienced. Very impressed. I will definitely be going ahead with treatment with him. I felt very well cared for, which is sadly rare these days. Highly recommend!!

I've been going to Dr. Kearney since I was about 5, I'm pretty sure my family was one of his first clients since we have been going there for 27 years now. His staff is always friendly and they are very clean I've never had a billing issue or service issue in the entirety of the time I've been going.

I have been a patient of Dr Kearney's for 26 years! I moved almost 3 hours away & won't change dentists. Dr Kearney, Stephanie, Christine, Karrie, Nicole & his entire staff are wonderful! They are all professional, caring & knowledgeable. I wouldn't even consider going to another dentist!
