In the event you were referred by your general dentist or another specialist, we will work closely with them. We will remain in contact with your dentist throughout your treatment, as well as after it is completed.
Before you begin treatment, an estimate will be given. Our front desk personnel will assist you in developing a payment plan that is mutually acceptable. We ask that all our patients take care of the fees for the initial visit and maintenance visits. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.
The percentage of coverage depends upon the specific insurance plan. Different carriers have different fee schedules. An insurance company may have a reduced fee schedule for dental services that may be less than the actual charges, resulting in lower coverage for you. The level of reimbursement is a direct result of the plan selected by your employer. Few insurance companies will pay 100% of dental costs. As a courtesy to our patients, we will process any insurance forms. Once we receive a predetermination of benefits from the insurance company, we can accept it as full or partial payment. You will be responsible for the remaining balance.
Dr. Jeffrey P. Giller received his Bachelors Degree from SUNY at Binghamton. He received both his dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry and his postgraduate degree in Periodontics. Dr. Giller has been in his current practice for about 25 years. He actively participates in many Continuing Education courses. Dr. Giller is the founder and chairman of the Franklin Square Study Group. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Nassau County Dental Society, and is an active member of the Long Island Academy of Periodontists, American Academy of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osseointegration. In addition, Dr. Giller holds the position as an Assistant Clinical Professor at North Shore Hospital.

Jeffrey Giller is a very professional and knowledgeable periodontist. I put all trust into him during my surgery and it came out to be 100% successful. He knows exactly what to do to fix your issue and walks you through every step that he will take to do the surgery! His staff is also very kind people that are very welcoming and sweet! I had a laser surgery in this office. Dr Giller was very professional and gentle. He told me every step during the surgery that made me not feel very nervous. Other people who work in this office were all very nice, too.

Just had Laser surgery to treat gum disease. Could not have been treated better. Dr. Giller is wonderful. He made the procedure painless and is always considerate to his patients. His office staff is also quite good.

I had to get an implant and Dr. Giller was the one to put in the foundation hardware. I have a screw in my jaw. You'd think it would be a terrible, painful ordeal but it was the exact opposite. He was quick, painless, very specific with what was going to happen, what was happening, and what I could expect in the future. I've had oral surgery before but he and his staff were the most caring and professional. He makes follow up calls after every procedure to make sure everything is okay and to answer any questions you may have when you get home. If you need oral surgery, this is the place you should go.
