I have the distinction and honor of being one of only three orthodontists on the prestigious Peer Review Board. This board has the difficult task of judging and correcting orthodontic treatment procedures.
Being an active member of industry organizations not only means that I keep involved with other professionals in my field, but it also means that I have a commitment to continuing education to keep up on the latest technical advancements.
I am only an average tennis player but quite an excellent golfer with a handicap that fluctuates around nine. If I wasn't so committed to excellent orthodontic treatment and continuing education my handicap would be much lower!
Dr. Robert Berger, a board-certified orthodontist and native of Los Angeles, grew up wanting to be an orthodontist. Coming from a family background of dentistry, with his father being an orthodontist, he was able to see the impact that straight teeth and a beautiful smile could impart on someone. More importantly, Dr. Berger was able to learn and gain further respect for the field with more than ten years of experience through internships and residencies. This proved to be invaluable and created a much deeper connection to every patient that walks through the door. These lessons helped develop him into an orthodontist who truly values and prioritizes helping his patients achieve their goals giving them renewed self-confidence in their smiles.
He prides himself in his attention to detail and drive to produce the most honest and best results. Utilizing the latest technology he is able to provide treatment ranging from early treatment, traditional braces, Invisalign, or orthognathic jaw surgery depending on what best suits the patients needs.

I am Dr. Berger's insurance coordinator and a receptionist. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I have about ten years of experience working as an insurance coordinator. I love working for Dr. Berger because he is kind and truly cares about his patients. I have worked with many different orthodontists and to me, he is one of a kind.
I am married to an electrician with two children boy and girl and we have two crazy Frenchies. I was born and raised in the Harbor Area and exploring California is what I love to do the most. I love watching football, reading, running, and taking my dogs out for long walks. I believe everything happens for a reason.
I love the art of orthodontics and have worked in the field since 1976. I had the pleasure of joining Dr. Bergers team in 1994. What I like about Dr. Berger is that he's a great person to work with and takes care of his patients like they were his family. Our patients go through such amazing transformations, and I love watching as their lives change when they have a beautiful smile.
My duties include dental assisting and helping out at the front desk. I have worked in the orthodontics field since 1986 and joined Dr. Berger in 2001. I love seeing our patients beautiful end results, and the increased confidence they get from having new, straight smiles. I also enjoy getting to know our patients and their families on a personal level in order to make their experiences with us truly unique.
My duties include dental assisting, lab work, and light front office work. I like to make people happy with beautiful new smiles, and Ive been helping Dr. Berger do just that since 1994. What I like about working for Dr. Berger is that he is a perfectionist and cares a lot for people. He also keeps up with new research and technology and uses all of the most up-to-date appliances to straighten teeth. I like my job because I can socialize and create a bond with patients, especially since the ages I work with are so varied.
Ive been an Orthodontic Assistant since 2011 and I also speak Spanish. I enjoy working at Dr. Bergers office because everyone is friendly and passionate about orthodontics. My duty at the office is to provide chairside assistance to Dr. Berger and ensure that patients are well-informed about orthodontic procedures and braces aftercare. Retainers are for life and so is your SMILE.
A little about me: I was born and raised in Los Angeles. Some of my favorite sports are soccer and football -- I amproud to be a Los Angeles Galaxy and San Francisco 49ers fan!I just adopted my first dog. Her name is Chica, andIm looking forward to going hiking with her soon. I love Mexican & Italian food. Traveling with my wife is my new hobby.

I didnt get to meet with Dr. Berger and instead met with one of his dentist who was uncaring. She was quick with her assessment and informed me that i needed braces despite my referring dentist request (metal retainers) instead this dentist was like a used car sellers and insisted a more comprehensive treatment once my medical insurance was ran and she saw I had "good" insurance through the CSU system. One another note, staff collected my insurance info before my appointment and when I arrived the had me set up under the wrong client chart and I had to explain on multiple occasions that I was a new patient (concern about hippa laws and data storage)

You asked about our most recent interaction with you and if we'd refer you after it. NO. My daughter's most recent appointment was to take out the retainer glued to her teeth so she would only use the plastic retainers. Berger waisted 2 hours of our time by not being there so we had to reschedule another time for when he was there so the retainer can be taken off. We scheduled my daughter's September appointment in March so the office should have rescheduled my daughter once they knew he wouldn't be there. Thanks Berger and Office Staff. My daughter had to stay up until 1am doing homework due to your 'inconvenience'.

My first appointment was great, The Dr. and his Staff really we're helpful and welcoming and they made me feel comfortable. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend this office for orthodontist work 10/10

We are very grateful to Dr. Jeffrey Berger for helping us with our teenage daughter's braces. We installed the system in Ukraine at the beginning of February. When the war started, our family was forced to leave the country to take kids to a safe place. Dr.Berger kindly helped us with highly professional and quality orthodontic treatment for our 11 year old daughter free of charge. Thanks Dr. Berger for your humanty, this is a great support for our family and great respect for the values of freedom and dignity!

I went here this morning on May 12, 2022. I had a thorough consult with Diana and Dr.Berger - after visiting various orthodontics offices this is the only place that took time to talk and discuss all my questions. They also the only place that provided a detailed report on what the issues are and how to treat it, I'm looking forward to working with Dr Berger & his team during my Invisalign treatment in the near future!

Dr. Berger is very professional! He makes you feel very comfortable and he's honest! I had 5 consultations with different orthodontics offices and I decided to go with Dr. Berger and I'm glad I did. So far it's smooth sailing with the Invisalign process

I've had my braces in for over two years I've dealt with every staff there and everyone is Amazing never had a bad experience. I recently completed my process and had my braces removed by David he is the absolute best.. he made sure I was comfortable and happy before leaving not to mention he has a great personality. David thank you for making me feel comfortable in the process of removing my braces and thank you to all staff members for the wonderful experience.

Overall, my experience here was a good one. The staff was very kind and welcoming. My experience with Dr. Berger himself was nice as well. My main issue was the lack of accommodations for fat people in the treatment area. The chairs themselves were decent but the proximity of the "table/desk thing" to the chairs was too close. It's time that public spaces and business start accommodating fat people as well as doing more than the absolute minimum to be ADA compliant. Had I been in a wheel chair or other form of mobility device, I don't know how I would have gotten around.

Christy is amazing gives us great direction for my daughters home care. With her new NASA wire it was something new. It's very good to give a verbal home care direction. But it is best when we have actual instructions on paper to follow back on if we'd forget. Thank you Christy for making us feel comfortable and confident in my daughter treatment. Your awesome! Dr. Burger provides a detailed plan of action and excellent service. In addition to being a great orthodontist, he has the coolest socks in the South Bay! The office is clean, inviting and nicely designed with parents in mind. The assistants and receptionist are kind, professional and helpful. Both my children's teeth look amazing, I highly recommend.

It was my first visit to the office of Dr. Berger. The best dental experience I've ever had. Ms. Dianne is super professional and gentle. Dr. Berger is very detail and informative. Excellent dental office and highly recommended!
