I am only an average tennis player but quite an excellent golfer with a handicap that fluctuates around nine. If I wasn't so committed to excellent orthodontic treatment and continuing education my handicap would be much lower!
Dr. Robert Berger, a board-certified orthodontist and native of Los Angeles, grew up wanting to be an orthodontist. Coming from a family background of dentistry, with his father being an orthodontist, he was able to see the impact that straight teeth and a beautiful smile could impart on someone. More importantly, Dr. Berger was able to learn and gain further respect for the field with more than ten years of experience through internships and residencies. This proved to be invaluable and created a much deeper connection to every patient that walks through the door. These lessons helped develop him into an orthodontist who truly values and prioritizes helping his patients achieve their goals giving them renewed self-confidence in their smiles.
He prides himself in his attention to detail and drive to produce the most honest and best results. Utilizing the latest technology he is able to provide treatment ranging from early treatment, traditional braces, Invisalign, or orthognathic jaw surgery depending on what best suits the patients needs.

I am Dr. Berger's insurance coordinator and a receptionist. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I have about ten years of experience working as an insurance coordinator. I love working for Dr. Berger because he is kind and truly cares about his patients. I have worked with many different orthodontists and to me, he is one of a kind.
I am married to an electrician with two children boy and girl and we have two crazy Frenchies. I was born and raised in the Harbor Area and exploring California is what I love to do the most. I love watching football, reading, running, and taking my dogs out for long walks. I believe everything happens for a reason.
I love the art of orthodontics and have worked in the field since 1976. I had the pleasure of joining Dr. Bergers team in 1994. What I like about Dr. Berger is that he's a great person to work with and takes care of his patients like they were his family. Our patients go through such amazing transformations, and I love watching as their lives change when they have a beautiful smile.
My duties include dental assisting and helping out at the front desk. I have worked in the orthodontics field since 1986 and joined Dr. Berger in 2001. I love seeing our patients beautiful end results, and the increased confidence they get from having new, straight smiles. I also enjoy getting to know our patients and their families on a personal level in order to make their experiences with us truly unique.
My duties include dental assisting, lab work, and light front office work. I like to make people happy with beautiful new smiles, and Ive been helping Dr. Berger do just that since 1994. What I like about working for Dr. Berger is that he is a perfectionist and cares a lot for people. He also keeps up with new research and technology and uses all of the most up-to-date appliances to straighten teeth. I like my job because I can socialize and create a bond with patients, especially since the ages I work with are so varied.
Ive been an Orthodontic Assistant since 2011 and I also speak Spanish. I enjoy working at Dr. Bergers office because everyone is friendly and passionate about orthodontics. My duty at the office is to provide chairside assistance to Dr. Berger and ensure that patients are well-informed about orthodontic procedures and braces aftercare.
