Arrogant and rude. My experience(s) have been largely.... "all bad" at this practice. Ist implant was placed in wrong location and at an angle by one of his associates who is no longer at this location but still in MB. 3 or so years later my dentist sent me back for an extraction and implant after a support tooth on a bridge failed. I reluctantly went back. This time Dr Wallen was my oral surgeon. Thought that my experience would be better but....no....while extracting the failed tooth in prep for the 1 implant...he split the root on the other tooth (front tooth). Was a difficult extraction. Surprise....now I'm getting 2 implants and learned that the prep he did was deficient but usable. My present, "pleasant" oral surgeon is redoing his work. Bottom line...Dr Wallen's errors turned a fairly simple dental procedure into an enduring, expensive, painful 18+ repair. Stiil not ready to crown...implants placed today. Do your diligence before scheduling. Fyi.... His staff is the best part of his office....professional and compassionate.

I just had 2 impacted lower wisdom teeth cut out and the whole experience was easy and fast. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. Highly recommend! I would even go as far as to say anyone dissatisfied most likely would have been dissatisfied with whomever they ended up getting treatment from anyway, so probably disregard . Especially the one saying he isn't good for sedative, which I literally just had and it felt like it was over in minutes with not even a hint of discomfort. Just my opinion, but Dr. Wallen is awesome, and he is a veteran.

I took my son for a consultation with Dr. Wallen to have his wisdom teeth extracted. We could not have had a better expierience! We first had a consultation at a bigger practice, but I did not like the doctors bed side manner, made me feel that they just run patients in and out like a factory. The expierience with Dr. Wallen was completely opposite, he took his time and explained in great detail with me and my son what to expect before, during and after the procedure. Would recommend to everyone for your oral surgery needs!

Dr. Wallen does a good job. However, be aware for your ins. purposes that a simple extraction here is billed as a SURGICAL extraction even if NO surgery is done!! Sadly, most dental ins. WIILL NOT PAY!! Information from their office that I could have used before work was done!!

I had to go here today for a tooth removal. It has been the bane of my existence since I was 12. First a filling, then a cap and Little River could not do a normal extraction because there wasn't enough left of it after 49 years. I went for the local numbing option so I knew it wasn't going to be a fun visit. These folks were spectacular, the lady (Debbie) who I spoke with to get in was very helpful and had to call Little River on my behalf because they had sent over an unreadable file. The girl who took me in was very friendly and even though I'm not a nervous person in these situations I could tell she would be great in calming nerves. Dr. Wallen also came in the room the first time with a great welcoming demeanor and got right down to business with clear instructions for me. After surgery I went home and later that evening got a call from a number I didn't know. I answered because it was local and it was actually Dr. Wallen asking how I was doing. Now sure, he probably does that for everyone but I had never had a dentist or oral surgeon call and check in on me and I'm guessing most of you reading this haven't either. While there I saw a plaque on his wall saying he was voted the best in his field in a local publication. I wasn't sure what that all entailed or who voted but I can say this, if I see the same poll this year he'll get my vote. It's the little things that make the difference so I can't recommend this office enough. If you have a choice, you can't do better than here.

My dentist has referred me to Dr. Wallen at least twice to have my wisdom teeth extracted. I finally decided to take the plunge and get them removed after years of the teeth bothering me. I met with Dr. Wallen for a consultation and he was thorough and made sure to address any concerns and questions I had prior to my procedure. I just had my oral surgery yesterday, and it went smoothly. I shared that I was nervous to both Dr. Wallen and his staff and they made sure to calm my nerves by answering every question I had and made sure to take great care of me. Dr. Wallen even called me today, on a Saturday, to ensure all was going well. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Wallen and his team.

Just had six -- yes, count them, SIX -- teeth pulled by Dr. Wallen. He was straight-forward, matter-of-fact and attentive. And he did a very good job. Although it was a tough experience, at no time did I doubt his abilities. I hope to go back for cosmetic work.

Completely unprofessional, staff is unfriendly and I would give it negative stars if I could. Would NOT recommend this joke of a business ever.

After years of previous dentist work, I saw Jeffrey Wallen today to have a tooth extraction, three roots in the back of my mouth. No easy feat. It was a better experience that I have had from other places. The best outcome is that I am in very minimal discomfort. Thank you Dr. Wallen for a job well done.

Dr. Wallen is competent, patient, skilled and has an efficient staff. The office practiced strict covid safety standards. Neither the doctor nor the staff are sensitive to anxiety. Office furniture is old but equipment is new and well maintained. Prices are clearly stated and competitive. Would recommend for most patients, but if you require sedation dentistry/gentle dental you might want to consider someone/somewhere else.

Dr. Wallen is the BEST oral surgeon around. I have been seeing him over 10 years and have had him place 6 implants. His work is of the highest quality and precision and his staff are very caring, helpful and attentive. I trust him 1000% with all of my dental extraction and implant needs. In fact today I just had him extract an upper molar that finally had to come out after numerous crowns. He prepped it with bone graft for an implant down the line. I had no pain during and really hardly any pain after. Just took some ibuprofen. If you need extraction or implant work, Dr. Wallen is the one to go to hands down.

Dr. Wallen and his staff were exceptional. Not only were my extractions pain-free, I only required a few Advil after. Dr. Wallen even called me in the evening to ensure that I was doing well....which was much appreciated! Great care and I highly recommend to all.
