Dr. Thorne is a lifelong resident of the Clinton area and, after graduating from North Hunterdon High School, received a Bachelors degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated in the top ten in his class from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1985. He chose a career in dentistry because of his desire to help people improve and maintain their overall health. He enjoys the combination of science, engineering and the skillful use of his hands to help those in need of his care.
The most rewarding aspect of Dr. Thornes career has been the relationships he has built with his patients while providing dental care. With 30 years of experience, hes developed lifelong friendships with many of his patients and their families.
Dr. Thorne and his wife, Beverly, have spent many years involved in community activities, including youth sports and local politics. Dr. Thorne has been active in his church as a lay leader, youth leader, Sunday school teacher and mission trip participant. He also enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking/backpacking, biking and gardening with his wife, daughter, two sons and two chocolate labs. Since 2004 he and his family have operated a local Christmas tree farm.
Dr. Thorne stays current with the latest in dentistry with continuing education courses through the Lehigh Valley Hospital dental program. This allows him to stay up to date in the latest restorative and cosmetic procedures so that he can provide the best in patient care. He is a member of the following organizations:

I lost a filling while flossing leaving what I thought to be a weak compromised tooth which had me in a panic. I made calls to various dentists and every one was booked for 3 weeks to 2 months out. Dr. Thorne managed to rearrange his schedule the following morning and took care of it for me. He did a fantastic job and I was out of the chair within an hour. He's friendly and has a professional friendly staff. I'd highly recommend him to anybody!

Stop looking for your dentist! Dr. Thorne IS the dentist for you! Been going to him for decades, and would NEVER change. Some time back, my coverage at work didn't include Jeff's practice. Forget changing dentists! Wasn't gonna' happen! A few payment adjustments and we were good to go! Rock on Jeff!

Couldn't be happier, I had some serious problems with some bottom teeth on both sides. I was expecting extractions and implants, but Dr. Thorne came up with a plan and fixed everything! I'm grateful every time I chew a peanut. The entire staff is fantastic. Thank you for everything!!

Gentle, caring and knows what he is doing. I was referred to him by multiple people who knew I suffered from anxiety especially when it comes to going to the dentist and I have to say he exceeded my expectations. He was very down to earth, helpful, knowledgeable. I came there and I was shaking, terrified and almost hopeless however when I left, nearly an hour later, i was hopeful and felt a huge sense of relief knowing i was in caring hands now. I can finally breathe again . Thanks you Shirley for getting me in so fast during these crazy times, she was beyond helpful as well. I look forward to going back to finish all my work. Thank you so much for caring, it means much more than I'm able to define in words.
