Dr. Machen is a lifelong resident of Louisiana and moved to Zachary in 1986 after completing a residency in Orthodontics at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He also earned a Masters of Education degree at the University of New Orleans.
Dr. Machen is a member of the Louisiana Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Louisiana Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, selected as a Top Dentist in America, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (a distinction that only 20% oforthodontists nationwide achieve)
He feels blessed in being able to do something he loves so much and working in such a comfortable environment with dedicated associates and spending time with nice patients who invariably become friends.
