Dr. Velasquez grew up with the influence ofhis mom,Dr. Neome Velasquez, aFamilyPhysician, and his dad,Dr. John Velasquez,aGeneral Surgeon in thePhilippinesand inAfrica.He knew at an earlyage hewanted tobe likehisparents helpingpeople.He is acompassionate,caringand gifteddentist.Dr. Jeff D. Velasquezearned hisDentalDegree from USC-University ofSouthernCalifornia, School of Dentistry.He openedhisownprivatedentalpractice in 2004 because he wants to deliver excellent DENTAL CARE, and he is passionate about improving patients' smile. Before Dentistry, Dr. Velasquez worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist; helping manage and treat ventilator patients in the hospital ICU's. So he knows the importance of following strict infection control protocol, respiratory and universal precautions during this tough coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic in keeping patients, staff and the public safe during their dental visits.He hasbeenpart ofthe Long Beach community formanyyears.He is a member ofthe Harbor Dental Society,California Dental Association and American DentalAssociation.Heis married and havea son, Joey.He enjoysplaying tennis, reading,traveling,hikingandspending time withhisfamily andtheir 2 dogs & a cat.

Like many, I'm not the a fan of the dentist but I truly believe I found my spot! Dr. Velasquez and the rest of the staff made me feel extremely comfortable and less stressed about my next appointment. I'm so grateful to the person who recommended them.

Pleasant, friendly dentist and staff. Dr. Velasquez will take the time to explain treatment options and plan going forward. They are also very responsive to emergency calls.

I am very pleased with their work. They are very kind and gentle. I love that they welcome you so warmly and with their office pet! Sometimes they will make you wait but they do a great job.

Excellent service !!! Highly recommended! Dr. Velasquez is highly skilled and very gentle no matter how long and complicated the dental work required. I did not feel any pain at all and he took the time to explain to me the reasons and the mechanics of the procedures that i felt confident that my dentist knows what's best given my situation and that I am not just agreeing for the sake of agreeing. The staff Vilma and Loida are equally competent, professional, nice and friendly. Anyone who walks in that office will feel at home in an otherwise conceivably traumatic and stressful place like a dental office. Nestled in a not so fancy location in Long Beach between Willow and Daisy streets, i was pleasantly surprised to receive Beverly Hills or Newport Beach type treatment!! Thank you sooo much and will see you again for my next follow up visit.

I usually try to avoid the dentist at all cost, but from the times I have to go, I come to this office. The staff is very friendly, professional and it just feels like family. Dr. Velasquez is very knowledgeable and always let's you know what he's doing to put you at ease. Had an implant put in last week and it was nice just to know what was going on and know I was in good hands. Definitely recommend

The staff is incredible! I always walk out of their dentist feeling better, especially after appointments when I came in with unbearable pain. Dr.Velasquez is always clear and gentle during visits. The atmosphere is always bright, friendly, and professional. The dental assistants, Vilma and Loida, add to this environment, with their warm and welcoming demeanor. I highly recommend Dr.Velasquez!

Had an amazing experience with Dr. V. He explained all the treatment and has lots of experience. Did a tooth extraction on me that had minimal pain. The staff is very friendly and very welcoming. They make you feel right at home. They try to educate me about my teeth as much as they can and always follows up on how I'm doing after a long and difficult procedure to make sure that I'm feeling Ok and that there are no complications hindering my recovery.

Great staff, always cheerful. Doctor Velasquez is very nice, he explains everything to you, have the softest hands, very professional and knowledgeable. They stay in the full protective gears the whole time. Very safe!
